Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Wii are very amused

I guess maybe I’m excited about the update because Link is the character I use in melee. They sorta gave him the shaft in the first game but then they made him better so i guess any information on him i’d be happy with. and yeah we probably won’t see any really new infomration until they’re through with the veterans. By the looks of things from looking at the site…They’re doing my character profiles now than anything at the moment they’ve done more updating to character profiles than anything. and more so in the veteran category. If the theory of not really showing anything reeally new yet is correct the next final smash they’ll do an update on will be kirby’s and the next character update will have to be metaknight, zero suit, or wario. That IS…unless sakurai goes the really cheap route and goes…‘Link can do the spin attack and throw a boomerang!’ or ‘Mario has a cape and throws fireballs!’…which i’m sure he’ll do anyway since he did do a special move update on pit. Only one way to find out… waits for the next update

When they say enemies, they mean that everyone who is your enemy is able to be trapped and hit by it, but it can only happen to one player. Can you picture it happening to every enemy on screen? I can’t…

I guess Final Smashes have different properties (like Mario’s has an Area of Effect attack).

The way how I read it sort of meant that more than one person can get caught in the triforce trap, if you’re not in the vicinity of the rush as the triforce comes out then you don’t get caught in it.

#1: She hadn’t been shown in-game before.
#2: Her textures have been vastly improved since the model they showed at E3.
#3: She looks friggin great!

…serously.

Shitty update > no update, I love the website. Every day something new…ish…

We get a new stage this week…thats all I need…a new item and a new mode are good to

Actually the most exciting updates for me have been the items; I know they’re not going to show completely new characters for a couple of months.

gooey bomb and CRACKA LAUNCHA ftw.

it’s called: Electronic Entertainment Expo. E3, for short. I highly, highly doubt sakurai would update the site what a brand new character becuase a new character is E3 news worthy, not simple blog worthy.

sirsly. No new characters for the blog, a new character is too big for just a blog.

July 11-13, 2007. <-- huge date to pay attention too (with regards to SSBB).

DAMMIT!..didn’t see that coming…well… it was still another character update, this time being pikachu and his final smash. Blanka’s electric ball on steroids? Is this new enough for you guys? Still waiting on that update to kirby’s final smash before they move onto to the other characters. Just can’t second guess them.

Wow Volt Tackle is the shizznite!!! Hope it doesn’t have any recoil.

Fixed.

It just looks like a suped up quick attack. And the first smash attack with consequences if u screw up. Well I just wanna know what Little Genius Ness and Captain Falcon got for smash attacks.

Ah… this doesn’t look good.

From my perspective, it looks great. :lovin:

Check out Mario’s “OH SHIT!” expression in the 2nd pic.

Pikachu is now a freaking beast…this update wins…although you have to master the controls it looks cool…the end part had me worried though that pikachu falls off the stage so does that mean his special will be too fast?..It kind of reminds me of falcon’s special from power stone…

this update recieves 4 stars out of 5

Why can’t Pikachu do that Final Smash move in the anime? All he ever does is say “CHUUUUUU!” and sends a big electrical attack. Oh yeah right he also has an Iron Tail move that he finally learned after about 5+ years… :lame:

Oh well maybe the anime will take a hint. I’d love to see the Team Rocket hot air balloon try to avoid that big electrical sphere. :wow:

He actually does have Volt Tackle in the anime.

It just doesn’t as badass as this

I WANT ZERO SUIT SAMUS

>:l

e3 is in may… i thought this game was releasing this year??? also do to cost reasons they’re not really doing e3 like they did in the past… hell this year the big game release event wasn’t at e3 right?

Volt Tackle better have major rewards then. Mario’s and Link’s final smashes don’t seem to have near the risk that Volt Tackle does. High risks should yield high rewards.

OMG did we actually get something…New?!
