Is Soma more popular than Alucard or even Simon Belmont for that matter? I somewhat agree with Yoshi_Kimachi for once: The third-party characters, provided there are anymore, will likely stick to “main” characters. Not that Soma isn’t a main character, but he’s also relatively new, isn’t he?

Dont know if this was posted earlier but here are instructions on how to nominate characters to be in the new Smash Game. Apparently you can type your nominations in english as long as you follow the directions. I tried it and typed in “Sonic” It seems to have went through no problem.

yeah seems they put in a REAL combo system now.but thing they need to do to make the engine better is…
1)make a REAL combo system and use damage/hit scaling.
2)super need to have seriuous damage scaling to work…
3)Fix powershielding to make it possible to do it in actual human vs. human battle.Because the 1-3 frame window is PRETTY stiff timing.make it about 1-5 or 6 not 8 like 3S(we don’t want the game to become parry parry parry anything highlight reel.
4)fix the range=priority so that non-ranged characters don’t get raped.(pikachu,ness, kirby,pichu)
5)Fix the invincible objects so they are not so high reward low risk
6)Tone down shine
7)demolish chaingrabbing or limit it all together
8)make fireball slightly more harder to defend.(ei by making them travel faster,add higher block stun,and have them come out at slighty random directions and angles.
9)**Put in a defense engine.**bowser,ganon,and DK should not be taking the same amount of damage as say jigglypuff and kirby.
10)extend the hangtime in the air as to improve mid-air battle
11)put the combo tracking thing back in like in SSB1 (remember the bombs always comboing into another bomb)
12)improve stamina mode
Copying and pasting Katakana from Japanese websites I managed to vote for “Ryu - Street Fighter II” in the Japanese poll. Sure he doesn’t stand a chance of winning against some Rockman AKA Megaman variant but at least my voice was heard. Well, maybe… I’ll be happy if any Capcom character gets in though if not that’s cool, already got Kid Icarus and Solid Snake. :tup:

well, i’d want only four or five guest characters to appear and that would be pac-man, megaman (or viewtiful joe), sonic (although i’d rather have someone from shinobi), and snake (though a belmont *would *be better). i guess a FF character like cloud would be good for them fanboys. no more and no less. imho, sonic would be a lame character, but i wouldn’t mind his cameo whatsoever, and street fighter characters wouldn’t fly because of their conflicting controls for their attacks/moves (though it’d be funny to see ryu throw a fireball at mario, only to see mario jump onto another platform). 
i do. i want to make $5000 just by being the best at this game.
