I’m guessing a Mii will be a playable character. Like, pick any Mii on your console, and it uses a standard moveset. Or, create your own moveset would be great!

Man, my brain MELTED listening to that remix and looking at the composers list. (Yoko! Mitsuda! Sasaki! Yamamoto!) Even if the characters I want in don’t get in, the soundtrack is going to be soooo EPIC.
Again, the wait is EXCRUCIATING. 
I agree…the list of composer’s is fun and all, but not worth the hype. Especially as a follow up to the Solid Snake vid that came out ealier. To everyone making the most of it: “Denial ain’t just a river flowing through Egypt.”
So, to sum up, if one of the Uniracers is not a playable character, I will strongly consider selling my Wii. For a million dollars!!!
Okay, I for one like the site in one aspect, but despise it at the same time.
The screenshots are nice and all, and the list of composers is amazing! (Really hope that they won’t have sold out and put tons of 3rd party in though.) Maybe they just felt like those composers were able to create an epic soundtrack, so therefore they hired them to help. Who knows, but regardless, that’s an amazing list of talent.
Now as far as what I don’t like, I’m not to fond of the fact that I stayed up waiting so long for this site to come up and then when it does, it’s just this. No trailer at all. No new characters. But with the Daily Updates they should get to that too.
I also agree with quiche in that, who would be on the site when it debuted that DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO PLAY SMASH ALREADY?
I really think Nintendo dropped the ball with this one. They had so much hype going, it was ridiculous.
We waited for over 6 months of complete silence on the game. Then, suddenly, a timer appears. So we eagerly waited for a week. Then, at the last second, we get another day added on with the “Starting Today!” bullshit. And then, finally, it’s updated, and it’s justa blog entry?
After that buildup, I think everyone was expecting something huge. It’s cool to do the daily update thing, but they should have started with something BIG. I mean, “How to Play”? I think that information is the one thing no one expected to change from previous titles. And sure enough, it didn’t. Battlefield is nice, but we’ve already seen it tons in the trailers. And composers? Sure, there’s some great talent on that list, but come on. Who releases a chunk of the credits as a bonus?
Why does it take a week countdown just for eight screenshots (of shit we’ve already seen/known,) a chunk of the closing credits, and a remixed menu theme? Why didn’t they just post it a week ago?
I expected at bare minimum a release date and a couple screens of returning characters Donkey Kong and Yoshi.

i’ve already died 100 times over out of suspense.
I wanted to think, at first glance, that the composers listed had something to do with what characters will be showing up in the game(I still do kind of…I mean…YASUNORI MITSUDA!), but then I looked and realized: none of the listed composers did any of the music from Star Fox, but we know Fox is in this game.
btw I’m still hoping for Ark from Terranigma! lol

Man, I don’t even LIKE Smash. But hearing that select screen remix and seeing Yuzo Koshiro on that list made my eyes tear up.
You won Nintendo.
And if Skate or Axel are playable(“WOO HEE HEE!”/“RAN-DOM CAR!”) then I may just die. Just something to think about, SoR2 was released on the VC just yesterday. Coincidence? Also, I’m not sure of this but IIRC, Yuzo bought the rights to SoR from Sega(which would explain why none of the SoRs were on the Sega collection).
Random - Maybe it’s just me but with Sonic already in that Mario Olympic game whatever I no longer care if he’s in Brawl or not, at least him and Mario can face off in another game. Don’t get me wrong, if he gets in - great, if not, at least there’s another option. I don’t need a game to tell me that Sonic can beat Mario’s Ass in a fight lol! Just my two cents… (sano grabs a Golden Ring and runs from ‘Sonic in Brawl’ fans…
