I have a GC controller but I don’t even have a GC. :looney: So yeah, I’m set.
I still expect Nintendo to announce it working with the Wii remote, I mean this will be a blockbuster game and it doesn’t make sense to not have it work with the standard controller.

So any ideas when we’re going to get some more news on Brawl? It’s been over a month and a half since Fox was confirmed.

I’d go to Smashboards to find new information but I hate going there as they’re filled with ads and so much other junk that it’s a chore to find anything remotely useful. 
I heard from a friend of mine that Sonic is comfirmed to be in Brawl, but I haven’t heard anything about this. He said a new trailer for Brawl came out & @ the very end Sonic shows up holding the Wii controller saying something like “Finally something exciting…”.
I think someone just used the Sonic Fire trailer & threw it on some made up Brawl trailer.
Can anyone confirm Sonic is gonna be in Brawl?
I remember hearing about that sometime ago but I’m not sure if it’s been confirmed or not.
As a game dev myself, things come down the pipeline from various companies, Nintendo included. I’ve heard everything from Sonic to Simon Belmont. It wouldn’t surprise me if either of those two were in, given that Konami is now onboard.
Nothing confirmed. And that “finally, something exciting” is from the sonic and the secret rings trailer.
We gotta keep waiting for more info. I’m dying for anything new. Pics of Donkey Kong and Yoshi…anything!

Man, I hope Sakurai sticks some American Nintendo characters in. It’s been said before, but Captain N is cult-classic enough to fit the bill. But even if it was some other American character (like, say, I dunno, one of the Lost Vikings), that’d be coo’ too.

hahaha I just thought that since when you change the language from eng to Jp in smash, bowser is called Koopa and fox speaks in Jp…well think about if the elite beat agents were in it changing the lang would make them looks like their original Ouendan counterparts!

But what would Elite Beat Agents / Ouendan characters actually do? Maybe they can just be trophies. Or if Pac-Man appears in the game and there’s a Pac-Man stage maybe they can hang in the background and “DO THE CHOMP CHOMP!”

Ha ha I remember Battletoads. Freaking hard! I borrowed if from a friend and it took me three months to beat the game using warp zones, and this was when I was a lot younger and could play 4 hours a day no problem. If I didn’t use warp zones it prolly would of taken me a lot longer to finish. I was so heated after all of that work all I got for the ending was the same picture of the Evil Queen saying, “I will be back!” Still lots of fun and the Super Nintendo one was equally hard if not more so…
