Watch Sakurai doesn’t say much about Kirby but then beefs up his attack priority and he becomes high tier.
I’m expecting the unexpected, I am just calling it now that I bet one of the more boring old gen characters is just going to turn out high tier.
As for the new characters, its really hard to tell based on the fact that we haven’t been able to actually play and check move priorities. I mean, some of these attacks look cool, but who knows if they’ll actually turn out good.
O.o;…I just got this vivid picture of master chibi’s face completely blown up with fire in the background and he’s got razor sharp teeth and a bit of spit is coming out of his mouth while he was saying that
wow…OK who in this chat is sakurai!?..SPEAK UP RIGHT NOW!
Edit:…lmao @ ashley’s music…I haven’t heard this before so that was completely new to me…errrr…am I gonna have to fight to that? lmao…i don’t wanna say i’m gonna put it on the same level as ‘HERE HERE…HERE WE GO!..’ think that’d be a bit too far…eh…maybe it’ll grow on me…
Edit2: just listened to the japanese version…is it me or does she sound more cute in japanese?
these f.smashes are degenerating into boring shit.
im not surprised at Chef Kawasaki’s cook power as the f.smash. in the kirby games, it was basically full screen insta kill super, everything on the screen got sucked in, no matter the distance.
but again, these pics dont do the game justice. we need some videos. sakurai!
Chef Kirby works the same as the game. Except items along with food come out the pot after what looks like some heavy damage taken. Only question, how random are the food and items that come out after Kirby has served dinner? The Ashley song was very catchy. And the bonus Japanese song is from this DS game called Cooking Navi. I suppose you have on the Japanese language track and this is probably the song that will play during Kirby’s Final Smash.
Sonichuman: Don’t be surprised if you wake up to 4 or 5 updates in one day before it’s said and done. My assumption he’s trying to fit in everything we need to know on the site before Armageddon AKA December 3rd.
English VA’s for anime, jap games, whatever always sound like crap compared to the originals.
To balance out my statement, I thought the English voices for DBZ were better than the high-pitched Jap voices . So no, I’m not being some elitist japanophile fanboy. But Jap voices always suit the character way more often.
I wouldn’t count on it. It’s probably one of the many themes that’ll play in Wario’s, still unannounced, stage. Here’s to hoping I’m wrong, though, heh.
The music is good, no doubt. Best music ever? That’s a bit of a stretch, don’t you think?
Also, a reviewer’s job isn’t to just geek out on any game he likes; he’s got to analyze its strengths and weaknesses. I’d be very suspect of a reviewer that gives any game a perfect score; he’d have to explain himself very well and I’d have to see other reviewers either concur or score the game similarly.
That said, whether the game scores well or not, you’re going to have fun with it, right? That’s what matters. Reviews should help you find if a game suits your tastes, regardless of its score: a good reviewer can express what sort of game he’s reviewing and allow people to make their own decision.
