Pretty amped on Lyn, despite her being an assist trophy. Grab + Hibiki’esque Super is cool in my book.

Yeah, I had a feeling Lyn would be an AT. I know some people will be pretty disappointed, but from where I’m sitting, Fire Emblem games are some great games, but the character design is pretty generic-looking. If Ike is the only FE char, I wouldn’t mind, but I’d also like to see Marth again.

Really? Those should be interesting. After the 1st character is KO’d, it should be totally possible for the remaining team to just infinite the hell out of the last guy.

It is quite common for two members of a team to gang up on the remaining member of the oppossing team and do an infinite on him and then kill him.

Mario’s nuetral air A is already in a screen shot (namely one of his main pictures), so I really doubt it.
I already thought of some potentially cool uses for this thing. You could shoot it to keep them back and then start launching fireballs and keeping away. You could use it at certain points while you are being defensive. Maybe if you are holding it it may have another function, like jetpack for double jump, or holding it?
His tornado did give him lift in the second video, as a matter of fact he comboed into it. I wonder how this is going to work on the ground and the air?
Ah…I almost thought she was playable,there! Oh,well, she IS another FE sword user after all. At the risk of being redundant, I’m still wondering why they haven’t tried to use any other character types from the game. Is it that tough to put in an axe or lance user? If they were able to make Fox, never seen throwing a punch, into the martial arts master he is in Smash, 'm willing to bet they can make a big, beefy axe user (read:Hector) fit in as well.
That’s probably because a different style weapon user is in the roster?

2 on 2 tournaments in melee are done quite often. Friendly fire is always on in these tournaments. I enjoy them much more than 1v1 games personally. I wish evo would have picked up 2v2 Melee instead of 1v1.
