I just to say that Bowser being back and transforming into Gigabowser makes me the happiest man on this forum.
Wiimote + Nunchuck will probably get a run from me. I like the way your hands are kinda free to move around (surprisingly, I find it one of the most comfortable controllers I’ve ever held that way) and it has the standard Smash motions.
No mention of C-Stick quick smashes. Maybe that’s what he meant by programmable control schemes? And if so, might these “programed” C-Stick smashes be set to charge like a regular smash instead of instant smashes?

Hmm, I wonder if you can use the D-pad to move using the Classic Controller?
using the dpad on the classic controller would be nice.
haha…it should use the stick hori is making for the wii, that would be a really wierd way to experience the game.

i guess asides from the holes in the floor, you can only die from going up or off the side, but falling would be a bit tough. not bad not bad, exploding bridges and guys on pigs

Due to the fact that everything Legend of Zelda related shown thus far has been Twilight Princess themed, Zelda and Sheik will not be the same person in this game. SSBM Zelda was based on Ocarina so Sheik made perfect sense, but think about it and you’ll see:
No Shiek in Twilight Princess+SSBB Twilight Princess themed Zelda=Sheik is her own separate character.
Stage: Bridge of Eldin
I’m not sure if I like the new stage or not. It would be plain enough for serious play if the orc didn’t come out and blow holes in the stage, but it’s not gimmicky enough for a casual stage, imo.
EDIT: Mmm, the other castle stage is looking more Fire Emblem-y by the moment, wink wink.
I think you’re right, and that’s if she even makes it into the game. And damn, this just reminds me of how I need to play TP still.
