He’s the main character from Kid Icarus for the NES. Kid Icarus 2 came out for the GB I believe. The NES game was a noteworthy title for it’s time, and I seriously wondered why it didn’t make a comeback until now. Nintendo better be planning on bringing a new Kid Icarus game!

That would be nice if Snake’s other selectable colors were of his various outfits from MGS1-3
Hmm, on second thought, I think I may drop support for Mac, and instead go with a 3rd party, a Sega character to be exact. And the cool thing is, this character was the title character in the first ever 3rd party Sega game to Nintendo. XD

If Metaknight’s vacuum sword properties remain we will be in big trouble… good trouble.:badboy: Not to mention he’s floaty and looks pretty heavy at the same time like Samus.
What I hope is that Mewtwo will be better and Marth will be toned down. I also wish to see Poo from Earthbound although Jeff could also work!
For Pokemon Blaziken (Sky Uppercut Up+B:cool:), Typhlosion, Scizor could all work.
Lastly, I WANT PAPERBOY!!! Imagine wavedashing on his bicycle, everytime he does it he’d make a Ringing noise from his bike-bell. CHING!!! CHING!!!:looney: His newspaperprojectiles could have bouncy properties like G&W sausages!

I hope instead of clones or color changes they’ll just make costume changes. No Oni Link in Brawl? Just make his costume for reg.Link so that we can at least have some fun with his cool design etc…

I think this is the first time that I will actually play Smash non-competitely due to those AWESOME supers from the items. I can imagine myself having just asmuch fun spamming supers with the super-only setting on picking up Hal Items. Mario vs Luigi both doing their ULTRA-FIREBALLS at each other ala DBZ. Beautiful:sad:
But when in comes to battle mechanics they need tighten the system up alot. Especially with defense, they should make dodges an shields universal so that you don’t need to light dodge just to light block just to avoid an attack.
By making the sub-systems universal like Guilty Gear XX it will be at least more balanced that the last game… when you count the averages of high tiered characters of course.:razzy:

Mario = hammer bro suit
Snake = NVG goggles
Samus = Metroid for a hat

I know these are just the fan suggestions, but they’re the ones that Sakurai chose to show to us. This is great news. The fact that Dragon Chan was mentioned and not Little Mac leads me to surmise that perhaps Little Mac is already slated to appear. This lends some hope for megaman fans too.

Hooray for the next Smash. Hopefully, they keep the physics engine the same so all the stuff people do now (wavedashing, L-cancelling, shffl’ing, teching) will stay in. And better yet, I hope they add some actual fighting-game stuff like mid-air dashing and dead-angle attacks a la GGXX. SSBB with the technical stuff from GGXX would be friggin’ awesome.
As for other characters, they NEED to have Sami from Advance Wars. 1.5 times capture rate and Victory March makes her way too good to ignore. C’mon, Sakurai, you know you want to put her in the game.
