Sorry if I sound a little agitated but it seems like people posting on the net take heat for crap that he said. Third Party nonsense? Sakurai said “Maybe 1 or 2” when he could of just as easily said, “There won’t be any more Third Pary characters other than Snake dumb ass!” People talking about clones being taken out? He said not all clones will be returning. Everything is Sakurai’s fault. I’m pretty sure JFK’s assassination is his fault too somehow but I haven’t made the connection yet…
In “celebration” (read: apparently bitchy whining) over the revelation of Twilight Princess Zelda (and the hopeful dismissal of Shiek, at least IMO), here’s something to slightly change the subject.

i’m aware of what he said, but it’s the reaction of the fanbase in general:

A Two day cool update streak…I had to listen to the song 4 times now to realize thats going to be playing when we fight…All the orcarina songs?=instant win

I agree with what that. I mean people are already swearing that Sheik is gone. Where do you see that written in stone? We don’t even have Zelda’s full moveset for you to draw a conclusion like this… I suppose 2 years with very little information and no one at Nintendo speaking to anybody to confirm/deny anything does that to people… causes them to make up “bonus” news where there isn’t any. Ohs well…
I won’t miss Sheik if she is gone though. Zelda’s cuter. Um, I mean Zelda in a dress is cuter than her cosplaying as a man… and stuff… filler…
Zelda, yesterday. Classic remixed music today. Very Nice. Damn I wanted to hear more of the Zelda’s Lullaby part, oh well I guess I have to wait for the game and the sound test. But I do see the point that everyone is making. As long as the cuts don’t inculde Ness and Captain Falcon, I don’t care. But maybe those characters who were bite style artists may still be there. But not in a major fashion. Maybe Fox has a costume that lets him be Falco with the strengths and weaknesses that come with it. Or you could select regular Samus and Zero Suit at will. And the same could maybe be said of any other character that falls in that territory. And maybe a tweaked Sheik could be her own character? All I’m saying is that all the possibilities are not on the table, yet. More or less just wait and see and then begin the Internet Smash Bros. Riot.
So…I wake up this morning eager to listen to what the update was…since i fell asleep 15 min before 3 o’ clock rolled around. And to my surprise there’s a zelda medley. So I listen to the track and my ears are immediately owned. I think I got something in my eye… HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FIGHT TO THIS GOD TIER MUSIC??? Excuse me while i continue to play this over and over for the next 30 minutes…
