Any way…CoroCoro magazine should be leaked tonight, and its delicious innards available for us to feast on.
I know I shouldn’t get my hopes up, but I would like to think that the reason Sakurai has been a bit cruel as of late would be due to Ninty and CoroCoro choosing to collaborate, so that the magazine would get a few exclusives relating to the game…kinda like how they did so for various Pokemon games over the years.
Shoot, even if it was just something like Mewtwo and Lucario being unveiled (which would be just more Pokemon), it still would be something that I think would be worthy of celebration…especially in the case of Lucario. Best Pokemon introduced in the series in YEARS, plus it would actually be nice to have a FIGHTING type in a Smash game…

I was thinking last night they should shove a villain from MGS in as a playable, I figured Liquid Snake or Ocelot would be perfect. I highly doubt it, but it’d still be neat.
I’m also excited to see if Simon Belmont makes the cut this year.

Actually, that’s rather incorrect. There are a bunch of firearms in the game, from Samus’s armory to the Ray Gun to Fox’s Blaster. Snake even has that Nakita thing still.
The only ban on firearms are ones that are realistic or at least use realistic, conventional bullets. As we’ve seen with previous games, missles launcher are a-ok.
A laser is fine too.
I thought I implied that when I said ‘firearms’. I guess I should have put the word ‘realistic’ in front of it, but that is what I meant.
Firearm generally doesnt refer to lazers or bazookas anyway. Just guns that fire standard shell, buckshot, or bullet type ammo.

Maybe, but no Nintendo appearance = no chance in Smash. Besides, the OG, Grey Fox, has things covered as an Assist.
Well, Snake Eater proved that Ocelot can fight with his pistols without firing a shot (against bees no less). But as much as I would love to see Revolver, as he is my second favorite MGS character after Snake, I doubt it.
If Liquid were in, does that mean that he would yell “BRATHER!!!” during every move?

Ha ha. . .and Ganon had a sword. But neither Falcon nor Ganon used their respective weapons. I guess that just shows how badass Falcon is. Screw the firearm, he doesn’t need a weapon to bring in the bounty. All he needs is his knee.
And as for additional characters, they REALLY need to bring in a Belmont or Mega Man. They just fit in with the whole concept of Brawl so well; their movesets seriously require zero effort.
And I’ll say it again. . .we need a character from Advance Wars. But it’ll never happen. Damn you, Sakurai.

Stafy getting some well overdue shine and love. And Waluigi runnin up, stompin em in the dirt, and boot em like nothing is wrong. Yeah, Waluigi grew up in the hood! That’s the only way he could have picked up something like that.
