My question is, why drag it out and keep it veiled in secrecy like it was something new and awesome when it’s just same old boring ass OoT Sheik? They should’ve shown that shit a LONG time ago and moved on.
Now if it had actually been something different (such as Zelda with sword like TP) I could see the need to hide it out and let it be a surprise.

I’m disappointed that Twilight Princess Zelda is just a re-skin of OoT Zelda. Sheik transform just doesn’t fit her anymore, and Zero Suit Samus was sounding like a reinterpretation of the Sheik idea anyway.
They could have done something interesting with Zelda that was more fitting to the new look. Maybe give her the sword. Make the light arrow bow a regular (charge to stun?) special and come up with a new final smash. If they wanted to be really inventive, give her Final Smash transforms like Samus, except switching her between Zelda and Puppet Zelda.
If Sheik really must be present, then just split her off into her own non-transforming character. How many people honestly switch back and forth between the two forms the way they were intended? The most vocal group if she were absent would probably be the competitive Smash players, and competitive Smash treats Zelda and Sheik as separate characters. (Of course, if Sheik isn’t a powerhouse in Brawl, a large chunk of her fans will probably switch characters anyway.)

Anyway, I wish I could forget this update or that Nintendo could forget they’re delaying it an entire month for us. (It had better be for that Online pretext and not for another character because the character thing would be a retarded thing that could lead to nigh infinite delays. Besides, they should have had all the VAs and what have you already, so that’s almost definitely not the case.)
Baines basically expressed why this is one of the few updates to geniunely disappoint me: It’s not that I hate Shiek (especially since I don’t really play Zelda games), but she’s pretty much the entire reason why normal Zelda is never used. Between the fact that Twilight Princess Zelda has a sword to use, the opinions that Zamus is supposed to be a (more broken) version of Shiek, and that I honestly don’t see any real differences between this version and the Melee version, alongside yesterday’s confirmation of the delay (without an explanation) I’m really starting to get bummed out.
Sigh. Oh well. I guess one of the top three had to return relatively unchanged if Marth is likely gone and Fox has undergone severe changes.
It will just make me all the happier if I manage to get good enough to kick the asses of the many fans of both her and Captain fucking Falcon.

Anyway, concerning the video clip, I saw several more important things that people had been wondering that I’ve yet to see people mention. It’s not very many, especially since the screen was too zoomed (which is why I even wondered how the above jackass saw realized the movement thing, but then I remembered that my monitor for my desktop is archaic and darker than the norm and that I didn’t really care and all was back to normal), but I thought it was interesting and people did mention them as questions much earlier.

[]The fish in Ice Climber stage can eat you. Whether this and the…thing in Pikman stage are lethal haven’t been shown yet, but it seems likely that they are.
[]Lucas can move during his Final Smash, though it’s impossible to tell how soon you can move since I’m not sure whether we saw the middle or the tail end of the Starstorm. The Starstorm itself does appear to mimic Astro Crush like I thought in that it falls with relatively medium speed (though it is overall slower than Astro Crush).
[]Kirby’s Final Smash appears to just spit people out and KO them while simultaneously spitting out food items instead of KO’ing people by turning them into food like the Cook ability did in his own game. It still appears to be quite dangerous though considering how far everyone got spewed out (and in seperate directions).
[]With news of Metagross in Alpha’s last post with all that information from WHobby, I was expect to see it. Instead, I saw a weird one that I didn’t recognize around the 1:40 mark. I originally thought it might have been one of the Lati@s twins, but I remember them being reported as just flying around at high speeds, attempting to tackle you. It sort of looks like Celebi or Jirachi or Mew, but my screen is too dark for me to recognize. Can anyone that plays Pokemon please identify it?

Other than that, I noticed that on the Dojo, they updated all the Character profiles to show what their special moves are even though pretty much all Character profiles are devoid of complete special move updates still. This may be part of their “penance”.
Viral EDIT: Nevermind about the 1:40 mark mystery. I just went back and looked at the spot twice more because it was bugging me and decided to listen to the sound while trying to identify the body.
I now know why I thought also thought it could have been Staryu/Starmie.
