Deoxys should have been fucking playable. I’m forever mad at Sakurai for this.
Meh. As fun as playable Deoxys would have been, I personally think it’s far more acceptable as a Pokeball Pokemon than an actual character. Regardless of which as version was picked, people would have still been pissed off.
So then it would have been had to been made to the point where we have another Pokemon Trainer-like character, except with four transformations.
It seems a bit excessive.
That and it would actually be nice to get a Fighting type Pokemon. I’m guessing we probably finally get one considering how much promotion Lucario got even before D/P or the 10th movie came out.
If it’s another physically frail Pokemon (even Mewtwo counts with his atrophied limbs), then I just might skip playing any of the Pokemon characters all together for a while out of “protest”.
But, yeah, we’re probably getting Lucario, so I’ll save any bitching for when I find out that we don’t/didn’t.

Don’t get me wrong. Lucario’s win. I’m fine with that. I’m almost willing to bet dough he will be in.
I was just really hoping for Deoxys. And if he must form switch, it could have been implemented in his moves, having his normal attacks keep in in “Normal form”, and the other 3 he’s temporarily transform into during the B attacks. Could have worked quite well, really. Would have been more visual than anything else, but I would have been fine with it.
Hopefully she isn’t a cheap bitch this time. And hopefully, sheik will be weak enough to force people to learn Zelda.

lol I guess I’m one of the few who really didn’t have a problem with her. No matter how many times people run off their tiers, I never had a problem owning the shit out of the top guys with damn near everyone (ok, some are shit regardless of how good one is).

I have mixed feelings about seeing Sheik back…first off :tup: @ the new sleek design and I’m digging the pony tail…makes a better explanation of where all the hair went >.>. I’ve liked her since Oot. I also don’t see a problem with having the same special moves…especially for one thing if we don’t know if something ‘special’ has been added onto them (I.E. Link’s boomerang now comes with a Tornado free of charge). And let’s not forget about this bitch’s normals and smash attacks…they could easily redo half of her moveset and give her new attack animations.
On the other hand though…I go…‘great…she’s back…-_-’. I only say that because I had problems fighting her ass with the Hylian. But now that I’m thinking about it…I don’t really care if they nerf her or not. I’m gonna be the one running circles around her for once!

Hate them both. I played Sheik, Samus, and Pikachu.
Lol sheik is the only character in the game that can cg to death over half the cast, and if she can’t cg them to death, she can just grab combo them.
She can combo any character in the game, even fox can get combo’d by her to death and he’s her counter.
zero lag, one of the best projectiles in the game, one needle can stop almost anything.
The only thing sheik has going against her is how easy her falling speed and weight makes it for comboing her. But it’s such a minor inconvenience it doesn’t really matter.
she’s rigged in purest sense of the word.
Yes finally, Captain fucking falc… oh, never mind it’s just sheik. I’m surprised they showed of Sheik but still haven’t shown Zelda’s special’s of FS.

Anyone else notice that it says every characters moves under their profiles now? Just look at the bottom of the Sheik update. Olimar’s FS says “End of Day”, for anyone who has played Pikman would you possibly know what that means? And am I the only one thinking about maining PT?

In the Pikmin games when the sun goes down, Olimar marches the pikmin into their ships and gets into his ship and flies into orbit around the planet, because at night the nocturnal animals comes out and kill everything. You even see giant bulborbs waking up and devouring all of the pikmin that get left behind each day.
I assume for Olimar’s final smash, he blows his whistle and marches all the pikmin into their onions and gets on his ship and flies away, and monsters come out and attack the remaining players.

It seems clear that nintendo wanted her and her alter ego polar opposites. Sheik had terribly recovery and weak hits, but was really quick and weighed a good amount.
Zelda was just the opposite. beastly hit power, great recovery, but was slow and took hits like akuma.
They need to reverse their weights. Using sheik was just so much less risky than using zelda because of the weight and speed differences.
But honestly, imo, sheik outside of tourney rules got raped without zelda.
In casual play sheik is still broken by herself.
sheiks didn’t have a terrible recovery.
As long as Sheik got a MASSIVE nerf, I don’t really mind it now knowing that there were plans for her to show up in TP but got scrapped.
