god it seems like just when I’m finally about to like be happy to play…then like some evil dream…you wake up and have to wait even more…like when Cartman froze himself to kill the wait for a Wii and when everything was resolved he woke up but even FURTHER back than before…

Wasn’t the game supposed to be GOLD already? I mean why would they need another month? The JPN launch being delayed only by a week is just borderline insulting. I was considering cutting 98% of the internet off for the two or so weeks between the US and JPN launches so I could at least be pleasantly surprised and discover some things for myself, but more than a month? That’s going to be nearly impossible. I’m not that good at dodging these things god damn it.

Good News: Nice Pikmin Stage.

Bad News: Another month to wait on the game of our lives.
If you call damning his Wikipedia page straight to hell. If you call death threats, suicide notes, and thinking a real riot might start dealing with it. Then yeah, people are dealing.
But the positive is you can use your Wii for something cool now. Go and play No More Heroes. It’ll take the pain away. You can pretend Travis Touchdown is MetaKnight or Ike if that makes you feel better. You could get DMC 4 and pretend every enemy is Sakurai because now you have to dodge spoilers like the fuckin plague or child support depending on your impending situation. And if you import game is mad nasty, go get that Nights remake on PS2. Looks excellent to me. And you know you got some game you need to finish beating, or a combo you could be perfecting or something. So we just gotta deal with it or get a friend with the Modded Wii and suffer no more. I’m slowly taking the latter.

Wait a second. . .does this mean that only the US version is delayed while the Japanese get it in late January? Because if so, what the fuck.
And if anyone was surprised by the delay, then you haven’t been paying attention to Nintendo for the past decade or so, where all their AAA titles have been consistently delayed time and again. If there’s anything good from this delay, it’s that I have more time to play Splinter Cell/GGXX/DQVIII/Melee/MP3, and the other games that I have on my backlog.
If we get a new character out of this delay, like Megaman or someone from Advance Wars, it’ll be worth it though.
Japanese version comes out the 31st, a one week delay.
US version comes out March 9, a ONE MONTH delay.
What the hell.

Gah, I think SNK and Nintendo have a plan to cause mass suicides (Or riots) over the delay in their games. I’m pissed though, regardless.

Like I suggested, the most likely reason for the delay is because Nintendo wanted to give their servers time to be built up for the upcoming “wide load” of those expecting to play this game online. Thus, they probably spaced the Japanese and US releases apart, so that they can try and manage it better, instead of having the servers crash, and then you guys have another (though more profound) reason to bitch some more.
…So in the end, this is the fault of all of those who wanted WiFi play so damn badly. Chances are, if Online play wasn’t so much of an issue (it certainly wasn’t to me, I got plenty of real peeps in both freestyle and competitive that I can play with), we would have gotten this game back in October-December, when we were SUPPOSED TO.
But noooooooo…you guys bitched at Ninty, until they gave you what you wanted so badly. Now they’re doing their best to make sure it’s perfect, so you guys won’t have another reason to bitch later, which means another delay to get all their ducks in a row. So suck it up.
This wouldn’t sting quite as much as it does if they hadn’t made a big hoot and a holler about not overly staggering release dates days prior to delaying Brawl again.
It’s like "Don’t sweat it guys. We promise - no more raw deals on the release dates …
… after like, three more games. Three more games and I promise I’ll stop"

Eh, you say that now. But come in two weeks, when the JP game is release, and its contents bled out, you’ll all be back to the status quo of going back to the griping for the game to be in your hands, soon enough.
Y’know…just like you and everyone else did so back in October. 
thats when i know ill be avoiding this thread like the plague. Its always difficult to keep myself from being tempting, but its pretty doable.
I will still go through the updates though, since well i have been since they have been doin em, so theres no point to stop.
