The game has been delayed. AGAIN. To March 9th.

Now there’s still another two-ish months of waiting…
Anyway, this stage looks rather freaky. I wonder if being gobbled up is an auto-KO?

Thankfully, only a week…but…gyat dammit…the only thing that could really excuse this kind of last minute superdickery would be any combination of 3 things:
- they needed time to get their ducks in a row, as far as the servers are concerned
- they needed a bit more time to play-test and bug-test EVERYTHING
- last minute character model finalized and prepped for action (Rockman?)
…Any one of those three are basically the only things that I could see as acceptable for making for a 3RD delay of the game. This had better be friggin’ EPIC Sakurai! >_<
Whats worse is that the JPN release is a delayed by a few days.

Once you know how to attack, the next thing you have to think about is avoiding enemy attacks. That?s where the shield button comes in handy.
You guard against your enemy?s attack with your shield!!
Shielding against attacks is a top priority. Because if you don?t get attacked, you can?t get done in! However, the more attacks your shield takes, the smaller it gets.
If your shield breaks, you lose consciousness.
But more important than guarding is dodging.
You just tap the Control Stick in a direction while holding the shield button.
Tap the control stick down to do a sidestep dodge!
Tap it backward to do a backward-roll dodge!
And tap forward to do a forward-roll dodge and get behind your opponent!
If you can do these moves, your enemies will have a hard time landing their attacks. And they make you momentarily invincible, so using them proactively is OK.
Use these moves as much as you can even before you get used to them. Sometimes things become clearer that way.

I need some real life testing on the physics involved, angle of impact, falling, the speed that blood fills up the lungs. Once my emergency ticket to Japan is finalized I’ll get right on it as soon as I return.
