Super Skrull Combos 2.0

Near corner: Start with R. Hook, :s:, SJ, Air Dash, Air :h::s:, land, Stone Smite, Stone Dunk, R. Hook, :s:, SJ, Air :h::s:, Air Meteor Smash, Inferno.

How do you land an :s: after R. Hook?

If you’re near the corner press :s: after connecting a Rolling Hook. It cancels the animation.

OH really? Haha, no idea and I’ve been playing Skrull for awhile. I never thought to try :s: after R.Hook; it looks like an uncancelable move.

Rolling Hook can be cancelled with :s: and all of his Special Moves.

Next question. :razzy: How do I land the second rep of Air Dash, j.:h: > j.:s: ? I have the same exact problem trying to do mission 10. :shake:

The relaunch at that part doesn’t need an air dash, you just jump and press :h::s:

Well he has lots of tech for canceling that move. He can cancel to Orbital for some armor safety, meteor smash for full screen crossups, or Elastic Slam for Full screen command grabs. It even cancels from Tenderizer, though I don’t suggest it.

But orbital grudge has less invincibility, doesn’t it?

Its not invincible, it just has super armor, and the super armor activates 2 frames earlier in umvc3.

How much super armor does it have?

One hit of armor, like Hulk St. H

What is the timing for stone smite in the relaunch combo???

  1. When landing j.:s: make sure you’re closer to the ground than the opponent is.
  2. When landing on the ground, make sure you input Stone Smite as soon as you land. Trainer Tips: If you see his standing animation, you’re doing it too slow.

Took me a good few hours to figure out these two secrets. I wished someone had just told me.

I play by rhythm and sound, not by visual so I don’t even know the timing for Smite or Dunk.
