Solo combo but drones could help though.

Also I was in the lab for 50 minutes recording combos and I found some new ones while in the process. I’ll edit it and send them to you.

Can’t wait for whatever it is you guys are cooking up, but I’m especially looking forward to new practical solo combos.

Solo combos are my specialty, and the some of the stuff I recorded today utilizes his new Air XFC so new tech is coming out.

1.15 mil builds 1.25 meter so you can do this with no meter. Wavedash after the stone smite if you aren’t close enough. Should be easy with xfc on.

So I’m bored and up late past 4am and I realized this, pretty cool corner grab combo that’s a variation of a vanilla combo but better/easier due to air meteor smash. It’s pretty cool for 1 meter no-assists.

Non-Command Grab >> TK Stone Smite >> Stone Dunk >> :s: (Launch) >> :m: :h: :s: >> Air Meteor Smash >> Inferno (Mash) 576,400 Damage 108 Hits (Crazy)

All of the stuff I’ve been posting about Ultimate Skrull I’ll record and post eventually, I’m just waiting to make sure Nasty and Shiro didn’t come up with some of the same stuff in their upcoming video, no need to film something twice.

Well a solo combo combo I did reached about 800k with only one meter, and I didn’t record any combo using the normal grabs.

If that works anywhere on screen than you are a Skrull Godsend. That would be a major game changer. I’m getting something like 804k but corner only. I’m looking forward to new command grab technology.

It did 828,300 damage but was restricted to corner sadly. I’ll work on more mid-screen stuff. Most I could do mid screen was like 780k? Sweet Jesus. It gains it’s own meter and it looks kinda funky.

780k sounds very nice midscreen. I’m sure the technology is there to get us to 800k eventually and 600k elastic grab midscreen.

Corner grab, call drones, charge c.c, j. ad charge s, s, j.mmhs, stone smite,s, j.s, air meteor m, inferno 615,800 and builds 1 meter

Been working on a bnb for stone dunk starters (because it’s all I can do T_T) here’s what I have so far

(midscreen or cornered) stone dunk :df::h::s: sjc. sj.:m::m::h::s: stone smite (do the elastic punch on the lower part of the ground bounce)
(corner) stone dunk :f::h::s: sjc sj.:m::m::h::s: stone smite (do the elastic punch on the higher part of the ground bounce)

if the stone smite is at the corner, they will pass over you and you can continue the combo like this

:df::h::s: sjc :s: :dp::m: inferno (797,700 unmashed)

if the stone smite is mid screen, then continue with rolling hook xx meteor smash though I haven’t been able to do this in practice yet

edit: midscreen, I found it easier to wave dash over after the stone smite and go :s: sjc :s: air meteor smash inferno which does essentially the same damage as the corner variation. (788,700 unmashed)

I’m so tempted to take up strider on my team because I think you would be able to extend the combos by calling him just before the meteor smash and then be able to to the flame sweep into inferno and possibly another inferno but I haven’t tested this.

The reason I’m trying to incorporate the elastic punches is to add that tiny bit of damage, but also to disguise two reset opportunities.

  1. after the elastic punch xx :s: you can do :m::m: and charge stone dunk for an ambiguous cross under, or fake it and go for an up exchange. (346,500 before reset)

  2. after the stone smite in the corner, you can do the :f::h: elastic grab :h: reset (481,000 before reset)

any tips to improve this?

edit: it seems that the :df::h: xx :s: only works when you crossed them up, but there’s enough time to dash under and do it, or you can just do :d::h::s: instead. Also found that in the corner, you can dash under to get :df::h: to work, or again, :d::h: works.

Also, dunno if it’s been noticed, but midscreen stone smite can be followed up with instant air dash then stone dunk

Hey wassup guys I’m trying my best to pick up Skrull and I have a couple questions I hope you skrull mains could answer

  1. What is his most damaging Midscreen practical BnB?
    2.What is his most damaging Corner BnB?
    3.What are some Elastic slam resets that every skrull should know?
    4.Are there any shortcuts to Rolling Hook? Every time I do it in the corner he performs the move the opposite way lol.
  2. What is his X factor BnB?
    If anybody can answer these questions I’ll greatly appreciate it!!!
  1. Cr. :l::m::h:, :s: SJ, :m::m::h::s:, land, dash, jump+Air Dash, Skrull Smash(Air Down+:h:), dash, cr.:h::s:, SJ, :m::m::h::s:, land, Stone Smite, :s:, SJ, :s:, Air :m: Meteor Smash, Inferno. does 756,800 with only one meter.
  2. cr. :l::h::s:, SJ, Air Dash, Air :h::s: land, Flame Sweep, Jump cancel forward, Skrull Smash, Dash, :s:, SJ, Air :m::m::h::s:, land, Stone Smite, :s:, SJ, Air :s:, Air :m: Meteor Smash. Reaches 793,200.
  3. After a basic BNB if you end the combo with a meteor smash, they will tech mid-air instead of soft knockdown. If they tech back you can :h: Elastic slam. Also the Inferno hyper if they tech back, you can dash :h: ES.
  4. You don’t have to press forward, you can press Down+Forward and you’ll be able to do rolling hooks in place.
  5. Depends on the x-factor. Most of the time it’s a basic ground bnb that ends with Meteor Smash then XFC relaunch yadda yadda yadda. XF LVL 3 combos… that’s another story, but I know too many of those.

-the stone dunk combo just above can do about 840k when mashed starting mid screen
-the best elastic slam combo I can come up with that’s practical (although kinda pushing it for me) is 599k when mashed; elastic slam dash j.:d::h: dash :d::h::s: sjc sj.:m::m::h::s: stone smite wave dash if needed :s: sjc :s: :dp::m: inferno

  1. After an inferno you can catch them with an elastic grab H, depending on the positioning you might have to dash back first. I’d also say that you should know the elastic punch reset after a stone smite.

Messed around with Skrull today and found/made some combos. Nothing new by any means; likely stuff you guys already do. Also, I find it rather amazing how much grabs scale damage. I tried to fit a F.Throw at the beginning of the second one and I got 578,000 DMG. Same for Elastic grab. :bluu:

Hey Shiro, nice video. did you know that you can cancel df.H into air ES, and only if the other player advancing guards, they’ll get caught by it? I don’t really play much of this game except for training mode and sometimes casuals, so I don’t know how useful this information is. I think you can stay safe with it like if you have a beam assist to call before Skrull’s grab comes out.

Other things to consider with this are instead canceling df.H to M ES covered by an assist, or f.H canceled to air ES; depending on where the other player is. It’s great zoning and mixups in one.

Edit: Posted this before realizing that the below information is out there, and Shiro even showed a real proper combo with it. I suppose if I SKRULLED down page 4 more I would’ve saved myself some time…

Also I’ve come here to ask if anybody else is aware that you can combo into stone smite ridiculously easy un-XF? Cuz I recently found out you can, but not sure if this is old news. I guess I’ll share how to do it anyway.

What you do, if you start with grounded L,M,c.H,S, (or whatever magic series/ground combo variant you prefer) you nearly immediately use Skrull’s airdash so you’re dashing INTO them rather than above or under. Let the dash finish then hit H, S. Next comes Stone smite which shouldn’t give you a problem anymore.

This combo/ability also works mid-screen, so don’t feel like you’re saving this technology for the best circumstances. Just can’t have too much hit stun decay.

I’m not sure why it works like this, but I’m thinking it’s the fact that you’re dashing into them, keeping them close to super skrull, and allowing him to attack cancel out whenever, whereas with the vertical super jump, you’re pretty restricted on when you can attack them. Plus typically your best bet in being able to hit them is when they’re at the top of the launch height. but y’all probably know that already.

I found a corner combo that reached 898,900 with one meter and no assists. So close to 900k though. I tried a couple different ways, but what I said earlier is my highest.

Edit: Ah hah! Mashed a bit harder and got to 906,100. Damn my fingers hurt.
