West Coast Warzone 2 and KS2 use Challonge. It is nice to use for events that use mutliple Pools, you can add late entries, and you can seed manually. And when it gets to top 8 or whatever, the online audience can see the brackets updated live.

For all practical purposes Challonge has seemed to out perform Tonamento. It just has flashier things such as an overall nationwide ranking system (which will never be accurate until every event in the world uses it).

Yeah Challonge is great. I just hope NCR uses something that basically displays the full brackets/standings post tournament. Most tournaments post top 8 and thats it usually.

Since this was never actually discussed, what’s the policy in ssf4 on changing ultras for winners?

let’s say player A fights player B. player A wins(barely) and decides that it would have been easier if he used the other ultra. player B uses the same characters, can player A switch ultra?

i’m assuming it’s like 3rd strike, where u can change ultra like u can change super art, but i don’t recall players ever needing to change super art when the loser of game 1 keeps the same character. so i don’t know if u are allowed to change ultra if your opponent does not switch character.

In EVO, you have to keep the same ultra if you won so maybe it will be the same
