no, this is normal strider no XF. It works much easier in XF and its a really good damage loop for him. Carry them to the corner then do the L gram, sat loop in the corner. Pretty sure its his most damaging solo combo too mid-scree
Here’s my mag beam tech.kind of an option select into good dmg or getting a free sat out. Basic pressure into m, h + beam, cancel h to sat summon, from here, if they magically get hit by the beam, hit h, l.gram,release sat, wall cling combo, basic or extended ender . Does good dmg if confirmed.can also be used as a punish if you have a sat or can dash,call beam,summon sat in one swift motion.not hard.

Tbh I don’t know why you were holding on to it. I don’t see any secrets. Its a logical thing to do if you have a satellite up and confirm a hit . OH SHIT HIT CONFIRMING. Didn’t really need training mode for that.

Can you make a video of this combo? I have also tried and failed at landing it.
Go to training mode and work on stopping the momentum on wave dashing into satellite summon. Your not summoning after the dash.you need to wave dash into the summon. Double tapping h should help.

By that I mean its one motion. You hIt a+b, and you’ve completed the qcb motion already , and then hit s. Almost like plinking in ssf4. You should slide and summon in a nifty looking manner.

If you are doing the qcb motion before dashing, won’t you get tiger or bird?
I input that shit all @ once manually
sat activated, lmh, L gram, throw sat, fwd x2 on stick, hold the 2nd fwd and roll to hcb+s, fwd x2 on stick, s.h, L gram again
I guess you can do it the way pervertq said, it does work like that but I find that game allows a bigger buffer window off stick inputs than button presses. Its just how it “feels” to me, could be 100% wrong though. Both methods work though, I guess it boils down to how you want to do it.
alternatively, strider can also be in 2\3 positions and do, lmh, sat activated, xf, dash s.h, l gram, throw sat, dash sat activate, dash, s.h, gram, corner gram loop.
Its a really good optimized combo for him. Max damage, hit confirmable with xf2\xf3 for big ass life and it builds pretty good bar for orbs later. Strider 3rd can be around 1.5 bar and if you XF into this combo you can build the last 1.5 killing a character, then dump orbs on the next guy. And this combo always ends with a corner carry
and pervertq, this is more than just a combo\hit confirm. If you could see between the lines, you’ll know whats up. Its a really good strider optimized series. Strider practically gets big ass off life off a string that is completely safe where as S is -12 for strider, you can TAC after it if you have doom 2nd for huge ass life and in xf2\3, lastly that shit will take a character to the corner for a kill while giving you a shit ton of bar for orbs and a death mixup on the next character. Its probably strider’s best combo starter too because its completely safe even against XF attempts if you don’t burn the satellite. The damn string does a shit ton of crap.
just use the richard nguyen strider combo. thats all you will ever need in x factor(2 or 3). builds the most meter from anything ive seen kills everyone ends in the corner for bird bomb shenanigans. I’m working on modifying it a little so that you can just legion instead of waiting on the bird bomb.
I know about that.I’m just saying its not very “secret.” Guess I’m just waiting for someone or myself to bring some mind blowing strider stuff. There are way too many questions in every thread and not enough lets further build on what we have.

Look I made a combo. Strider /Dante. Have to have a sat up. L,m,h,l.gram,act sat,dash,summon sat,dash,h, l.gram, release sat,wall cling,m,h, late cancel h.gram,summon sat,l.gram, act sat, vajra , team hyper if two bars. Haven’t figured out what to do for dmg while dantes doin his thing. Maybe gram loops.dunno yet.
Was getting close to 800k doing shitty stuff.

But…that combo is the bnb in theory . There are sticky combos on the first page. Search function is also helpful. Using jwong as an analogy was probably the dumbest thing I’ve read in days. This game has a mega lenient input system. There are very few not practical combos. Also it is fucking lazy when you want to be better at something but you want someone else to do the work for you.

I’m sympathetic to Pervert’s desire but not his expression. The person asking for inputs on a whole combo is the laziest question I’ve seen in a long time. He could at least said “I’m having trouble with X”.
Everyone wants to see the forum as a place to read new tech. It is disheartening to see a notification on a relatively inactive board only to find it is a question that has been asked and answered many times before. We should maybe have a Quick Question thread like in the Zero boards. Strider popularity seems on the rise and that would be the place to handle the combo question that started this.
I do get excited when someone actually posts…
