I logged in to say that I just got through seeing this movie, and although I dunno what the hell was goin’ on, visually it’s off the HOOK.
Story wise…maybe it was the booze I was drunk on, but it’s one of them ‘have to see it a 2nd time’ kind of movie for me at the moment. Which isn’t happenin’ cuz IMax is expensive shit.

I saw it guys. I thought it was cool visually, but there was too much crying, not enough rape, and the music threw me off. The plot was weak but I don’t think they wanted us to think of the plot. It kind of reminded me of Inception, and I didn’t like that movie either.
I am going to guess that South Park will at least have some sort of references to this movie in an upcoming new episode.
It seems to have done ok, came in at 2nd in the box office with $19 mil. But I guess if it has legs or not will be the real test.
Is it wrong that I decided not to pay to see this the minute I saw it was rated PG-13?
I saw it and liked it. I went in expecting mindless action with hot chicks in short skirts and cool visual style. I got what I expected. I’m not saying it was a great movie, but I thought it was good. definitely had some cool style, and more depth than I expected (though not so deep).
I saw it midnight show with some friends, having nothing else better to do. vanessa hudgens was HOT in this movie, but she couldn’t even save how terrible this movie is.
the plot/storyline was weak and the whole “inception” idea was extremely corny, if you ask me. but at the same time, it’s just me being a little harsh on a movie that i knew wouldn’t be good story wise. the action was pretty decent though.
As a MOVIE fan it was disappointing. The backstory behind it really is very depressing and actually left me shaken up a bit.
The girls look good though. As do the visuals.

Saw the movie and left disappointed. I seriously expected more. After awhile even the action started getting boring to me. Girls looked hot though especially Vanessa Hudgens. Rocket kicked ass and I thought she was kinda cute.

Good to know I didn’t waste 10-12 bucks to see this, seems to be what I expected. I haven’t even seen a movie in theaters since October. Insidious will probably break that next week (Despite it being oddly PG-13 as well).
I haven’t seen a movie in theaters since Avatar. Doesn’t look like this movie is going to break that streak.
I forgot what I saw last, some Horror flick back in October. I wanted to see a few after that (Tron, True Grit) but didn’t feel like the money to enjoyment ratio would pan out at the time. All that’s been released so far this year has been crap, so I am happy to save that money.
I don’t see how people are comparing this to Inception. Where are the similarities? There was no crazy imagined fantasy world inside some girl’s head and I definitely know it’s not in the plot.
Especially when the concept/script was most likely thought of before Inception even made it to theaters. People are just comparing it because it has a basis on imagination, hence a dream-like state. But that’s pretty much where the comparison ends.
