Funny you mention those movies… fucking hate them! I actually went in knowing this movie was about explosions/titties/dragons etc. I enjoyed it for that. 
I saw it in Imax, and I got what I wanted out of the film.

The horrible part is that I really like the actual premise of the film, I just don’t think they executed it very well. Hell, I had more fun DISCUSSING the film then I did actually watching it, because it’s a shame. Somewhere along the line I think they realized they made this film in the wrong order.

My beef is with people too in love with what they like that they can no longer process valid criticism against it without getting personally offended.
Honestly it’s almost like they WANTED a normal film out of this, until they realized “shit, a film about a psychotic pig tailed 20 year old isn’t going to sell well!, WHAT DO WE DO?”

I also liked the idea, and was even surprised at the ending, I think it was the most decent part of the movie. The execution though was meh, a little too cheesy, no wonder its pg-13.
I didn’t see any tits in this movie, wtf. A bunch of girls ‘had’ tits, but they weren’t worth noticing.

I came out of this movie disappointed. I mean enjoyed the movies visuals and what actions sequences were there but the way they executed the story was pretty bad especially towards the end. I can appreciate what Snyder was trying to do though in mashing up like every genre into one movie but honestly i think Tarentino did it better with Kill Bill.
I will admit the story was overall pretty lackluster
However, I didn’t came in to watch it for that. I came it to watch cute girls with katanas and guns fighting robots. No amount of shitty plot can replace nerdgasm. For what I wanted to see, I was satisfied.

I havent paid for a movie since June 2007 thanks to my company giving me gift cards to movies every month, it has saved me over $300 dollars in tickets since then. I am going to see this movie today, and it looks cool, but I dont get why everyone keeps talking about the tits, I mean, these are like flat chested chicks, not like EE+ racks here…grow up folks.

The last time I saw a movie, the previews went 1) I am Number (whatever), 2) Sucker Punch, 3) Priest?
They’re all the same EPIC, BADASS, POOCHIE, X-BOX CG style movies, so in those 12 minutes or so I practically saw all of them in their entirety and saved 30 bucks.
