Nice, I need to order one of these for myself.
So you went ahead and counted? I would have guessed 10. Glad i didn’t guess. Nor did that detract from the point.
Then all of Displaylags reading are wrong and many that seemed mediocre are actually good and possibly under a frame? As far as I know they take the 3 readings as do many other sites.
And those posts above are over a year ago and a few people talking about their own method of testing lag it seems not what the majority do.
You always take 3 readings, that is how Leo Bodnar designed his lag tester to work with.
Take, top, middle and bottom readings and take an average of those 3
If you are worried about variance, you repeat the process, you still average out the top, middle and bottom readings.
Then with all the repeats you take the average of that. No one bothers with more than 10, usually 3 tests as there very little variance.
If there is a lot of variance, then their something wrong with the TV.
Well his readings were around 4, 7 and 19, I don’t see how that’s 2-2.5ms. B)

4+7+19=30
30÷3=10
10ms. Which is sub frame and perfectly fine latency scores for a HDMI Flat Screen Display, and is considered excellent for FGC standards.
With no one else in the industry having a MS lag time of less than 8ms, I doubt a cheap Hori portable display is going to have a 2ms lag time.
It’s not possible, especially at the price point Hori is selling their display for.
Yes there are 2ms displays, but they not consumer grade displays, those displays are industrial grade and don’t even use HDMI.
They are used in industry where every ms counts, air traffic control, medical, broadcasting, ect, such displays cost thousands of dollars and there no way Hori of all companies make a cheap portable gaming display that measures up with a $10,000 display that is only used in air traffic control and hospitals.
Which is why a few posts back I also said 10ms.

I agree. I felt I should post the math up for everyone else.
So then by your standards, standard “lagless” CRTs lag 8ms. Even though when we are comparing lag we are comparing how much they lagged to a regular CRT screen. Do you guys even logic? The Hori displays lag 2-3ms behind what a standard CRT would display.

So you went ahead and counted? I would have guessed 10. Glad i didn’t guess. Nor did that detract from the point.
My only point was to show that you are being a tool.

Do you guys even logic?
Thank you for further proving my point (with your lackluster English).
Glad to know that correcting people when they make a mistake, especially when the evidence is on the same page is known as being a “tool”.
With your lack of reading comprehension and logic, its no wonder you keep making a fool of yourself.
