easily my favorite. i really like how emphasized the hands are in this!!

the explosion one is coming out good so far, but the only thing holding it back to me at this point is the way his coat was represented. the movement feels almost a little static… maybe if you exaggerated the flow on some areas of it a bit?

Yeah, a lot of people comment about the “wooden” coat.I’ve been meaning to change it.Damn 3S ruining my life.Can’t get anything done…

maybe i’d comment on that if the guy in the coat just happened to be ken or something but i think you are fine for now huh :looney:

good contrast job on the latest one, although i think it would help if her right eye was as clearly defined as the left.
was the background created with a custom brush in PS or painter?

The rest of her body lacks definition but the face is nice. You probably noticed it already but her right eye is bigger than the left. I would soften her left eye a little so it doesn’t stand out so much too.

yeah, I’m not happy with it. Didn’t even finish it.More of an exercise really .I’m rusty.Her left eye is supposed to be half closed.Slightly demented…eh.

I almost always use custom brushes.

I’m actually loving the loose feel of the pic, I think it works well for for a practice piece. The difference in eye size doesn’t bother me, but I agree with woof that the left eye would look better if it was more sharply defined. Good stuff.

yeah i don’t mind the loose look either. i think the focal point comes off a lot easier that way.
