If you’re a fan of SoR and you’re not on this, you are doing yourself (and these guys) a HUGE disservice.

I don’t think it has net play. I can’t wait for the weekend when I should be able to play this. I definitely want to give it the time it deserves.
Graphics aren’t so hot but otherwise amazing! I love how fast enemies are and Adam is broken as fuck stat wise and move wise.
I’m bummed about that. Was expecting it to be there as it was on the feature list. Everything else is amazing though.
Just beat it once through with Adam, who is awesome, btw. Dude has great damage, solid health, an awesome dashing attack that gets stupid good once its leveled up all the way, an awesome aerial special that is completely invincible so its great for approach or anti-air(works wonders on jetpack guys). Only problem is his main combo is kinda slow, so sometimes the boss will interrupt your attacks before its over. You gotta replace it with his forward special(the double kicks) to end it right.
The game is REALLY good, although I could’ve done without the vehicular levels. Dozens and dozens of stages that’ll take multiple playthroughs to get to and the shop feature really adds value to replaying the game and unlocking the various modes. There’s even a SoRRMaker in the game, so people can make their own SoR campaigns of sorts and upload them online. If this thing had net play, I seriously would’ve paid full price for this thing, its badass.
MAN, the bosses are dicks though. You can’t really pressure them on wake-up because they always do anti-air attacks and they’re safe as hell(yes, you have to play SoRR like a 2d fighting game sometimes). Mr.X took an entire continue off of me, he’s a real asshole. His movement patterns are so erratic, he’ll disrupt all your combos, he has full-screen projectiles, and the magical ability to dodge hits whenever he feels like it. After I smashed him the face with the waaaaay too good Adam Smasher as I like to call it, I was like “FUCK YEAH SCREW YOU MR.X YOU CHEESY SON OF A BITCH!” Seriously, the guy is S-Tier.
And so is this game.
Mad props to whoever did this. So much dedication put into such a tribute.
Downloaded earlier, had a quick go but was too busy with other stuff.
Going to beat it tomorrow hopefully, apparently it has 103 levels, but I think it might be 103 areas.
I’m gonna mess with the video options some more and try to fix the slowness I’m experiencing
Luckily, I have a higher-end quad core setup, else I’d have run into that lag issue, also. Is this remake open source? If it is, it’s possible that someone can mod it and tack online play via Kaillera or something similar.
How do i program my arcade stick to play on this game. I need it bad
does anyone know if player 1 and player 2’s share the same continues or are they independent? I played through the game 3 times tonight with a cpu partner but never had to continue myself, so i’m just curious.

Also in the ending where you fight robo mr. x i was trying to escape the tower in 3 minutes but I had to find a key card, but I couldn’t find it!!! Does anyone know where it is?
Syxx, how did you get that ending? I’ve found 3 different final stages so far. Also for secret characters:

One resembled the SOR1 Mr X room and the other 2 resembled the SOR2 ones. Also for the secret characters, it says there are 19 playable characters. So you have the default

so far from what I can see, the secret characters are Roo, Ash, Mr. X, Elle (electra), Shiva, and a mystery one which looks like Rudra, Shiva’s sister they showed previews of in their blog. That’s 12. I’m going to assume the last 7 are alternate versions of the main cast since there’s an option to unlock the SOR 1 and 2 counterparts. That would include SOR Axel, Blaze, and Adam and SOR2 Axel, Skate, Blaze, and there’s also a cheat to unlock Beta version of SORR Max. That would make 19. Btw, Shiva is even more broken than Adam. His Hadoken special does a full combo’s worth of damage in one shot, along w/ having mad priority. You could essentially do 1, 2, 3, hadoken and just watch their life disappear. [/details]
I don’t know why everyone prefers SOR2 other than the music or their favorite character is in it. I think SOR3 is superior, I like the music, you don’t have to play as the lame robot, the gameplay is much faster, the specials are better and feel more devastating, you can play as the head bad guy plus a Kangaroo and Gay Biker, not to mention two different endings with two entirely different bosses. I like the bad ending myself.

It should. This absolutely amazing. Has everything you could ever want. If you go with a CPU partner be sure to set their A.I. to balanced, if it’s set to aggressive they will hit you all the time.
No clue, actually. I was just kinda going here and there last night, and other than just playing the SOR1 maps straight through on one run, I can’t remember the other paths I took 
There’s just so many in this game.
You can go in the options menu and set friendly fire to off. The only thing that will affect you is when he throws somebody and you’re in the path you’ll get knocked down, although it won’t do any damage.
