EWGF being +1 or -1 doesn’t matter vs a good player. Think of it like Jin Rising Uppercut but better and more damaging. The important things are that the push back was maintained.

Alo the mist step nerf sucks because that was one method for kaz to deal with none meatie crosses. Hugo splash jin j.rh etc. You could return the situation to neutral without wasting meter or taking a large risk.

Having the ability to make the first move versus a good opponent or not being able to doesnt matter? I disagree. Those two frames difference are going to make a big difference in up close game. Guess we can try to count on more gimicks 4rh and such but the meat of his game revolved around people respecting ewgf and respecting he had options after it.

They did! It’s now -2 on block. That’s a major but fair change. Especially in combination with crLK it was strong but that’s quite a difference now.

I absolutely love King’s changes. Don’t understand the Knee Lift change…it was 80 Damage not, 110. So the damage got buffed too? Also the 4f until airborne (I think it was 3f before)…is that gonna make it harder connect? Not sure. But I think his max damage combos, e.g. after tag will change anyway. Something like clHp-RASC/Bomb are buffed damage wise and due to scaling it will be a better option.

His damage output, espcially with throws is even HIGHER now. His crLk and crMk are now Julia league.

I have to say, I think they did a decent job on the Tekken changes so far imo.

I’ve been playing ttt2 almost exclusively lately and once I heard of the sfxt 13 update I figured I would come back. After reading the changelogs I’m kinda sad.:frowning:

I guess it depends really… I’m actually kinda’ excited now that we’ve seen some of the Tekken-side’s changes.

We’ll see though once the whole list is released.

Seeing a lot of anti-airs for the Tekken side makes me really giddy. I’m excited to see what they do with Asuka.

Julia actually didn’t get hit hard. Only lost 50 HP, and her backdash really.

If anything she got off pretty good.

(I am a lol salty about the loss of the 1f super but its still a decent punish at 3F is it not?)

Pretty much everyone got nerfed, so it would be pretty pointless to make any assumption about who got hit so hard by the nerf bat that they’re now bottom tier crap. Kaz seemed to have gotten the Wesker treatment and some pretty good buffs, so I don’t think you should be too worried about him.

I’m gonna miss being able to frame trap with Ewgf.

The point of mist step is to go through projectiles.

In a game trying to prevent time outs and running away, I don’t see what’s so ridiculous about her 2 mile back dash being nerfed. All sorts of runaway tactics are being nerfed across the board.

oh it’s not that bad kaz is still kaz in a sense. Julia can burn in a fire for all i care well in this game at least, i love her and her mom in tag 2 <3

Mist step nerf also pisses me off oh well as long as I can high crush with ewgf.
