Nothing too much, just my personal style of playing her is a little affected by her frame changes. I think she will still be solid overall though barring anything we were not told. Some damage nerfs and frames on specials changing though is kinda… bleh.
More excited to see what happens to Yoshimitsu, Asuka and Ogre now, then I will have the info on my 5 rotation of characters finally.

It still has the damage, the juggle potential and the pushback. I don’t like that both WGF and EWGF are -1 but this doesn’t bother me (they shoulda made WGF -2). A lot of people are going to think it’s safe to push buttons after EWGF now. I’m prepared to send them to hell.
What bothered me is the nerf to ex Slaughter Hook; I literally thought they removed strike invul from all EX variations. But if it’s only Slaughter Hook, I’m fine with it (hopefully EX devastator can still be used). These changes make Kaz (if he’s played the way EWGF users play him) a little more honest.
The ground bounce on the overhead looks interesting; it was something I experimented with for safe tagouts. Looks like Capcom just gave it to us for freeee
The only other thing i want to know is will EWGF still go through DPs or will they trade now. I use it to bait and punish dps sometimes.
Edit: The nerfs I expected and hoped for didn’t happen. Kazuya’s EZ mode damage will still be waaay to high considering that DGF now has high juggle potential and does more damage than EWGF.
Edit 2: Not only did Kazuya not get nerfed, Nina got buffed to high heaven. I’m almost delirious right now :D. Bring on the Lili buffs Capcom, my body is ready!
Edit 3: The potential buff to c.HP could make up for whatever crap they did to EWGF. Even more delicious.
Isn’t the point of the mist step to avoid standing attacks while only lows beating it? Shit, I hope this doesn’t mean Jin will get the same treatment to this special step.

Right. There is not point in using Raw mist step now. I never thought it was a good idea anyway because trained players will be ready to throw out a low anyway to beat you. Like Chaos said in his post, I’m worried that special moves like dragon punches are going to beat my EWGF.
I’m curious how you are prepared to send them to hell? If you do another EWGF, a low or now a standing attack can beat it. Cr. Lk got a Hitbox reduce so hopefully it can reach after the EWGF pushback if that’s another option. The only thing I can think of is a Raw Launcher if you train your opponent to press buttons after EWGF and even that is iffy. You know Kaz better than I do, so I just wanna hear your opinion…lol.
I am just thinking about in conjuction with is other move nerfs and his boost chain gameplan really looking soft as fuck now. I am not as narrow minded as some people in here but kaz who functions best in mid to very close range and they are nerfing those tools along with the already weak wake up game doesn’t bode well for our favorite mishima. The ewgf nerf along with the normal nerfs seems unwarranted especially considering his execution requirement to play with peak damage. I complete understand them not wanting eceryone to play like a boost monster but why nerf the move that he could build a unique game around? +1 or -1 may not seem like a lot now but when people start playing and trying to bully pepeople on the inside that shit is not going to work. Push back prevents the threat of another ewgf and all your normals are going to lose after it where before you could attemt a frame trap c.lk to get people to sit still and try other measures of offense. Whatever though i am overreacting lol
