Street FighterxTekken ver. 2013 (The free edition)

The changes so far…

don’t seem that great or groundbreaking. Some seem kinda pointless edit: esp when it is called a “balance tweak” The hitboxes in this game are still rather terrible and I hope they address them. So far best one is the regen change. Also that trailer was embarassing. Next time show whats new, Capcom. ._.

oh and can someone explain what the “extended air time” for julia meant. That one I didn’t understand.

edit: double post sorry

Longer float

aaannnd my shitty connection kept me from playing in sethlolol lobby =(

Rofl, don’t you know bro? Once someone’s done something wrong once or twice if they do something right it’s still bad. It’s like “oh no, Capcom’s learning from fan feedback? Giving free DLC? No Capcom, STAHP.” Though there are some in the mind that the game will be bad no matter what, there are also those who feel like the game should just ‘die’, as I’m sure you guys have seen many say alot about this game in particular. So anything that could possibly expand on community feedback and/or make the game better or funner is seen as contradictory to SFxT hate. Can you imagine? The general consensus of SFxT turning into good? All those haters eating their words; they can’t have that. But if you ask me I highly doubt any of these changes will somehow bring back or convert haters, I feel like this patch is good for those who care in the community and want to see the game go further.

Question: When is Asuka finally going to be playable? o_O

Don’t get so impatient for all the changes. We still have til December for the patch to be released, so just hang tight there. Remember, Capcom has a habit of not showing every change they do to a character, which I actually always kind of liked. Makes it more fun to explore after a major rebalancing like this.

Also, I’m sure they have their entire staff working overtime to make sure that no major bugs occur.

I just hope Hwoarang and Nina don’t get hit with anything big. On a off topic note, it felt good to play sfxt offline with real people instead of online. They weren’t good but the smiles of people who were having a good time was well worth it.

Yes. Please. YES.

Nina doesn’t deserve any nerfs. Hwoarang on the other hand is going to need a few small adjustments particularly the stance tech which has to get nerfed.

Today is a very nice day!

Not so sure. If I see my other character still regenerating his/her life, am I not prone to turtling a little more? Or generally, a more cautious play…

I thought throws were perfectly fine?

Well, at least these are welcome changes. The red life color especially. No need to stare at the health bars anymore.

…I expected things to be a little more dramatic. Especially with the cast. Yay, Yoshi can antiair better, well…the rest of his moves still have an awkward as fuck range. Buff him, he has a goddamn sword! At least Paul is a little faster now.

But I’m glad something is happening.

NO AKUMA BUFFS! Have you seen the auto correct tech?

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.
… is that suppose to mean?

Edit: I seriously hope that’s not all they gonna do because there are spots on Ibuki which need some serious tinkering

No?? Send it my way, please???

Practice it and enjoy!

Are you seriously asking?

Just read Eventhubs comments.
Now feel sick. Why am I part of a community with so many idiots? Also feel a bit sad. Might cry…later, after laughing about the rest of the comments

‘You get a free balance update adressing all the problems people have with the game’ (surely there will be more things to come e.g. Pandora changes)
And what happens, they are still the same. I think if some read ‘SFxT’, they just have the urge to post brainless bullshit, without thinking. Kind of a SFxT-Tourette-Syndrom

They should’ve increased the throw range instead of reducing the startup frames.

But if you increased just the range, throws would still be too slow.

They should’ve done both, to be honest, but if picking between the two, faster startup is better in my opinion.

Eventhubs comments are downright hilarious.

They are actually complaining and shitting on Capcom for giving a completely free update with the exact changes they were asking for (grey life nerf, less jabs, less glowing, more damage, better throws, character buffs etc).
