What exactly is so cheap about Cammy? From an outsider just watching the game, she doesn’t look half as scary as her AE 2012 iteration.

I don’t think she’s cheap at all. Honestly she doesn’t seem to be that different from AE edition either, so if someone could explain this that’d be swell.

Also, can someone explain to me why hitting someone with spiral arrow on their wakeup seems to work 98% of the time? :rofl:

I mean, I’m aware that her st.jab pressure is above average and that she can jump cancel her close roundhouse into either a front-hitting EX Cannon Spike or a cross up. Though that seems to be the only notably “cheap” thing she possesses in this game.

Because for some reason people don’t like to block it. XD

Also I don’t think she’s cheap, but she’s my main right next to Juri so I’m already biased lol. Her cross-up is kinda’ dirty because of her jump arc, and her mk > hk chain seems somewhat safe to me at the right distance against most of the cast, but outside of that… I dunno’.

I like my speedy little killer bee.

CRAZY TALK. Cammy is fun as hell to play. The only reason she isn’t my main is because JURI.
Hell, {a good} Cammy is fun to watch.

I’ve never played a SF where Cammy was boring. She has been my absolute main ever since @3.

Like I said, nerf her standing jab. Maybe then, people will realize she has her TK Cannon Strike back in this game.

I like the poison changes. Dont play the others, as long as Nina and Ogre dont get the boot entirely im fine with whats going on.

Just read Ryu’s change list and it seems like they destroyed him. Maybe it’ll be balanced out by the nerfs to other chars, but playing a game filled with weak characters isn’t that much fun.

I’m really liking Abel’s buffs, Ken’s chngelist, Cammy’s nerfed jab and Hooligan buffs, Vega buffs to Scarlet Terror H & EX (now has same juggle points as M version), Balrog headbutt hits crouching opponents, Akuma buffs & Ashura Senku nerfs, Bison buffs, Sakura buffs, Guy buffs (string is useful now as a midscreen juggle, 2-hit fMP, useable Ninja Sickle, YOU CAN COMBO INTO M AND EX AIRGRAB + jMP is cancellable)

Unfortunately, I think they took out Guy’s MK loops :frowning:

As a Chun-Li player… she did not need any of those changes, and frankly, I’m surprised she got any buffs at all. That being said, I’ll take it.

Overall, I’m liking these changes. Fuck safe chains and spammable moves. And if you disagree with me, well I respect your opinion, but I’m going to evolve my game.

I’m glad that the game now rewards those with an offensive game. Turtles beware lol. All my characters besides Rolento seem to have gotten reasonable nerfs/buffs. Now to wait on my tekken side.

I don’t think alot of these changes are required, and alot of buffs are undeserving (Abel’s throw for example). However the thing that shocked me was:

Cody:
EX Zonk Knuckle – Knock away changed to shoot straight up on hit

  • Damage decreased from 160->100
  • Push back on block reduced

[FONT=arial]That damage nerf is, to me, outstanding. If it shoots straight up now then i’m assuming you can combo after it which either way, the damage should not have been reduced by 60 goddam points. Maybe 30, but not 60.[/FONT]

Scarlet Terror (M) – Damage decreased from 100 to 80
Scarlet Terror (H) – Damage increased from 100 to 120

[FONT=arial]Seeing as how M Scarlet Terror is the main one used in combo’s, that’s a bit of a damage sacrifice. Lets hope we can use the H one in combo’s now. Now i’m just waiting for the Ogre, Alisa and Kazuya changes (please nerf Kazuya, i’m sick of seeing him online with Ryu).[/FONT]

Cody got hit HARD. I’d argue the only character that got hit as hard as Cody is Rufus.

Sadly, while Cody was picking up some traction among players, he still wasn’t up there with Ryu, Rufus, Kazuya, Rolento, Raven, or Cammy by any means. Yet he got nerfed harder than almost all of them.

This is the worst travesty:

So…there 2013 patch plan is basically to nerf the living fuck out of the Street fighter cast so that Tekken(Aka the most agressive characters) can stand toe to toe with the Top tier.

Let’s see how Capcom changes the tekken cast, Capcom are basically going to force people to play Tekken characters now.
