Damage scaling is indeed fine, not our problem that some people do jab jab, ABC(following all the way through), tag, use ex move, tag cancel again.

Gotta’ agree. Scaling seems fine, though admittedly at first I was on the “wtf” side. But once you start optimizing it’s hard not to do 40-50% with 1 bar.
And I don’t think I want to deal with a Hugo or a JACK-X with less scaling. They’d be doing in the 700’s, easy. O___O
See that’s the thing. Obviously we dont know the changes the problem is this idea that what the general populace believes to be problems in the game. When in fact these supposed “problems” are non existant in higher levels of play. So in Capcom’s attempts to appease the narrow minded wants of the general populace they may end up making the game worse in the long run when the community progresses further skill wise.
And I’m not just gonna stick with something cuz its new…sorry. If it ends up turning to something ridiculous that is not SfxT and things like Pandora becoming buffed enuff that its used in almost every match then ofc I’ll prolly drop the game.
But not to say thats what will happen…so drop ur stupid assumption of this idea of “obvious problems” when its more likely the problem lies in the narrow mindedness of the general populace.

Frankly, the options are let them change and improve the game or watch the game fade off into obscurity like it currently is. If the game stays as is, it won’t be an EVO 2013 game – and frankly, I’d prefer they change and update it into something enjoyable and popular as opposed to watching it just disappear and being left with only Marvel 3 to play when EVO comes around again.

Lets be real…for the most part…for 70% of the anti sfxt ppl hate the game as a scapegoat for their deep seeded hatred for Capcom’s business decisions.
So in other words their hate for it is shallow. Im all for balancing and interesting changes but lets be real…jus cuz they make a few tweaks does not mean ppl will start flocking. A change that makes the game visually pleasing is all thats rlly needed but I doubt thats even enough cuz like I said the hate towards sfxt for the most part is shallow. So its just gonna take some shallow fan service to make ppl come back.
Also if they wanna buff pandora all they have to do is do what they did for the phone version. Pandora washes off and ur still alive but with one character.
Exactly, raising the scaling doesn’t buff everyone equally. The ones with massive combos would get a huge bonus; the ones without them would be relatively nerfed.

How can anyone suggest a reduction in scaling when people are doing ~50% with 1 bar?? Think about it people.
Yup, you´re right, that was a bad idea. Even 20% minimum scaling would result in easy 700+ combos for two bars. That was my idea of “pleasing the masses”, teams struggling with breaking the 400 reliably with 1 bar probably just have bad team synergy. Many people say team synergy doesn´t exist, but being able to do a “Hardnormal xx Special TAG j.HK, Groundbounce, cr.HP xx Special” for a generic midscreen punish is already huge, as this combo results in nearly 500 damage for teams which can reliably land it.
Higher minimum scaling would cause these punish combos to go through the roof probably.

I think the scaling problem is more of a SF side problem since their hitconfirms are based more off of doing two or three light attacks to confirm into a combo whereas the tekken side has their nice one-two strings and such to confirm into combos for less scaling. It’s a tricky problem and I’m not exactly sure how to fix it.
-Slow down the timer
-Increase the damage
(If they increase the over all damage… Pandora wouldn’t be so useless you would just have to make new set ups to take down your opponent.)
-I can see why they won’t do anything for pandora.
-If there is a damage increase some of the characters should have a health buff.
If all were implimented… matches would go by fast.
With this all they have to do is give the correct buffs to the correct characters.

Matches go by fast for me the way it is, but seriously I say just stop the timer during super/cross arts on hit since they take a while.
