Street Fighter x Tekken DLC/Balance patch: 7/31/2012

ok i was just saying buffs i would like to see. Despite how good everyone thinks he is (which he is). I was just throwing some ideas out there.
In all realty i would like to see his overhead be just a tad faster giving him a good mixup option.

The other costumes are gonna be Vita incentive? so does that mean it is a vita exclusive as well? does that mean it is ONLY for vita? man, I hope not

Yup, Yamazaki is all I see when I see SFxT Bryan, too…which is awesome.

They did mention about those costumes at Capcomunity stream last time when i was there. Vita costumes will be coming to consoles, im pretty sure i remember that correct.

The Next Set of Alts are Pre-order incentives for the Vita version, which means if you if get the vita version you can cross transfer the costumes to PS3 for free and vise versa with any DLC you had purchased prior, Thats It…

The Costumes will be released around the Vita’s release…be done with that now.

Yoshimitsu needs more range on some of his normals and some more hitstun.

If Capcom doesn’t give poison a boost in the tag department they could at least give her more damage.
(I was thinking about gems… some characters may have been built around them. This could have happened for Poison.)

A few of Paul’s moves just need to be speed up and (I forgot which overhead.) Should cause a ground bound. Shredder should have more inv.

Akuma should have 850-900 health in this game. If capcom is considering giving the game a general damage buff or anything towards grey health, they should buff it. Or they could just make grey health work differently for each character. Characters with more health regenerate slower, and less faster.

This isn’t needed but give some of the tekken characters actual anti airs. Jump ins are really strong in this game.

Vita release is during the Halloween days… so… ah I see. We will get Lili’s witch costume in late October. Capcom intended to make it sp00ky I suppose? Makes correlated sense if we somewhat put the pieces together.

Yesterday I was styling on SoFa in this game. It was like I was Deion and he was Gilbert.

They said they would be giving sporadic update information before the release, but we havent gotten any besides what they said around evo, right?

As for the talk of Paul, i want to stress again that he is not as bad as people say, but I still think he needs a series of buffs to work exceptionally. I also think he is one of the easiest to buff, since it is just a case of making his tools that should work work. Right now, he is a braindead character which I actually enjoy for players such as myself and beginners, but while his offense and style are great to introduce players to the Tekken style, his slow speed and lack of a.airs where he should have them (stares at shredder) means he can be iffy for beginners to rely on and there is little reason for people to stay with him.

He already is built to have a strong corner game, id like a change or two that further elevates him to one of the best corner games in the cast. Then he would finally have a niche other than “anchor character for a zoner on point #3

I should have been more clear; I meant Kazuya’s I’ve personally played that can EWGF.

Ahh, ok. Though needless to say, I don’t think having Tekken experience is at all required to be consistent with EWGFs

I actually sat down for a couple of hours to see if I could learn EWGFs, and ended up being pretty consistent with raw ewgfs into another ewgf, but juggeling with normals into ewgf in the air was not consistent. I usually got the ex ones when I tried that, which still worked I guess. Needed the plink though, and my hand was killing me after the practice lol. Much respect to anyone being consistent with those!
