Blanka + Kuma = BITEBITEBITEBITEBITEBITEBITEBITE
How the hell does this even exist? I’m hyped, but still, damn.
I am rather excited about this game, too bad it’s release is so far away. Aaaaaaaah I’m hyped as heck
Not to be a crasher but I like both SF and Tekken but this does nothing for me. It seems like 2 games that do not mix at all. You are taking a 2D fighter and mixing it with a 3D fighter who have literally nothing in common. This seems like the lets throw shit against the wall theory.
It’s not shocking at all. People in the insider people in the Tekken scene new this shit was coming for awhile. At EVO I got 100% confirmation from Namco that Tekken X Street Fighter was being made. Namco also did tons of interviews with players asking them about what they should do with the franchise and how to handle it.

yes. that’s why I say it was a poorly worded post. I was addressing posts saying it looked exactly the same as SFIV but with tekken characters. Some of the assets are resused, but the system and gameplay looks… well, like a whole new game.
WTF!!!??? :wtf:
You have got? to be? fucking kidding me.
Seriously, even VF vs Tekken would make a hell of a lot more sense than this crap. :lame:
I’m going to state right off the bat that I thought SF4 was mediocre, and Super was a little bit better (not by much really) which would raise the game to an ‘okay’ level, you know? It’s still not a great fighter as it’s held back by mechanics that cater to bad players (input shortcuts, Ultras, Jab links).
I’m looking at the footage and I’m not impressed. It looks like it has the same shitty mechanics that plagued SSF4, except now there’s a tag system and Tekken characters. Whooptyfuckingdo. I did like that Ryu has his kick from 3S back. That’s about it. I don’t mind Tekken, I find it a little boring to play, but I respect it because it doesn’t cater to retards (Bob might be a question though). I’d be interested in what Namco is making though.
But the peon-masses will get hype about this nonesense and shell out $60 for it while really good fighters such as KOF13 will maybe sell 100,000 units here.
Wouldn’t mind seeing Juri Han hook up with Kazuya Mishima within the game, hahaha.
Yep. Thats exactly what I was gettin at. Everybody has an opinion and a favorite game, but it’s that attitude I’m talking about.
sure bro thats why all the retards that herp derp omg graphics play tekken
Some of those match ups make no sense as far as going based off character correlation.
Makoto vs Leo
Chun Li vs Jun
Ibuki vs Raven
Sakura vs Xiaoyu
Those are just some that make more sense.
In all honesty, that little teaser would have been 10x more hype if Kazuya tagged in Jun and NOT Nina.
Shit’s gonna be hype.
Jun finally makes her return! (Keep dreaming, Jun fans)
Anna Williams vs Rose
I’ve got a biased opinion about this, so take my rant with a grain of salt. What on earth warrants this game other than ‘we’ve never been able to do this before’ ? THIS is more valid than a new Darkstalkers? Tekken has never, ever appealed to me- 3D fighters in general are a clustercuss; I’d prefer to keep it as far away from Streetfighter as possible. Ono really jerked us off for nothing on this one; I can’t help but feel incredibly disappointed. It had better be something amazing by the time it rolls around because for now I couldn’t care less.
Well, the moment Ono confirmed that the announcement wasn’t going to be Darkstalkers @ Evo, all the REAL hype flew out the window. Well, for me at least. Granted, I do like Tekken, but this cross-over left a huge “meh” feeling for me. I never had any interest in these two universes crossing over so I’m not excited about it.
As I stated earlier, would have been more interested in a Virtua Fighter x Tekken. Too bad Sega sucks.
Maybe for you, but Nina is more well known.

lol yea That is basically most of America’s opinion on Tekken. I personally love Tekken though.
I am just hoping the game becames legit to play gameplay wise and not broken on both games.
If you dont like Tekken, you will have tons of other 2d fighters to play, or MK, or whatever is coming. Lets face t, globally counting all the markets, a Darkstalkers game aint doing close to the numbers Tekken would.
Ono and Harada made a smart business decision. Ono for tapping in the Asian Arcade market and Harada for the US/European console market. I can guarantee you, for every die hard american 2d fighter fan hating, there is a die hard asian tekken arcade player doing the same… the similarity is youll both play the game(s)
