two notes that i just thought of:
- kens voice sounds alot like the animated movies voiceâŚwonder if that was a concious decision
2.is kens mother connected to this story. I mean growing up i remember ken was supposed to be a brat, thats why his dad left him there. But it seems like they are implying there is more to the storyâŚprobably arent even going the brat route.
It looks like it is following the story that UDON and Capcom put together. Hopefully Ken goes looking for Gouki and has that epic encounter.
Also if he gives Ryu the Red Bandanna at the end Iâll mark out.
If he gives Ryu his bandana after Ryu cuts his forehead during a sparing match then ill totally lose my shit.
It is interesting that Ken discovers info on SNH. I do want to see Ken take on Gouki but I doubt itâll happen since it supposed to take place while Ryu is fighting Sagat. That could be changed however. Ken seems to be screaming for his âteacherâ during the trailer. I did notice that Ryu doesnât have his white headband when Ken lands the Shoryuken.
Ken is the one who finds Goukenâs body first, then all he wants is Revenge at that point against Gouki. Contrary to popular belief Ken is a very integral part of the early stages of Ryu and this whole scenario, and for a good chunk was considered superior to Ryu. It just so happened he lets the Revenge notions slide in favor of a family life while Ryu continues to pursue what Gouken would have wanted him to do, creating the power shift.
i stopped reading udon after first 4 issuesâŚcouldnt stad the fact i could see the pencil sketches under the coloring. how is his mom involved?
In the Ken trailer he said after his mum passed away, he got left with Gouken.
On a side note, if this goes through the training stages of Ryu and Ken while Gouken is still alive. That means Dan should still be students with them for a brief period of time as well right? Iâd laugh my shit off if he pops up in this. Doubt it though, considering the uber serious vibes from all the promo stuff.
