Street Fighter V's lack of content is appalling

The word “improved” is not an alternative for the word “added”.

Eh the lobbies are disappointing. But it’s not a huge loss for me off the get go. I do prefer 1v1 but it’s nice to be able to take a break and watch others. Learn something, eat that kinda stuff.

Well ‘improved’ for 8 people and spectating as it states, right now it’s 1v1 and no spectating if you really want to call inviting a friend for a game then having a rematch option a lobby.

1v1 only and with no spectators until march?

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK !!!

THE WORLD HAS ENDED.

Well at least the lobbies in 5 will have a chat option.

Vanilla SF4 only had 1vs1 lobbies. It didn’t have a replay channel either. SFV allows you to watch replays when you want to take a break. Sure its not convenient to have to leave your 1vs1 lobby to go into another mode to watch a replay while you take a break but this is only temporary.

You people played the demo…you got what you deserve…enjoy your rushdown heavy garbage where every characters buttons all do damn near the same thing with their identical standing medium kicks and their missing neutral jump attacks in this lazy ass game(unless they changed that lol).

You guys could have bought that awful air dash loli fighter that just came out featuring visual novel sluts and gotten a better scrub shelter experience imo…at least you would have gotten a real story mode with the chance to have sex with your imouto.

Edit: oh crap I forgot this wasn’t general discussion…well nice knowing you guys

Ummmmmmmmmmm…

Apparently Chun Li’s P2 boob fiasco glitch hasnt been fixed. How is that possible considering they’ve known about it for almost a year?

Sign of things to come?

And yet people are complaining about the game lacking content.

integer overflow is a good name.
i sense someone is a programmer.

it’s not done till 2018 your point is?

No one should disagree with what the OP said. The asking price for this game in it’s current state is absurd.

Honestly, for fighting aficionados such as majority of people on this website, we know how the deal is going to (or supposed to) be down the road as most of those modes and features will be released as time goes on.

However, for those getting into fighters, for everyone else, this may indeed be the deal-breaker from the get-go, and to count on those people to wait on the extra content down the line after plopping a good $60 for this is indeed a bit of a gamble. Yes, the game will do fine out the gate, but how many more potentials will be missed if, due to lack of singleplayer content, will refuse to even try out the online modes against other people without having something more ‘viable’ to warm up against? (despite that fact that yeah, fighting CPU induces bad habits). Maybe that as well as the lack of immersion factor as a result of the missing story mode stuff and what not to really ‘connect’ with a character of choice? I know, sounds absurd, but think about this perspective indeed from everyone else.

Because we are dealing with a Call of Duty instant-gratification generation here. I would be fine with the game being held back by a couple of months for most of the good stuff to be available. Heck, I’ll still pre-order it in time for release over Steam. But what about Random-ass Joe?

shrug
For now, until March, I dub this version: Street Fighter V: Ground Zeroes.

This small mindedness will keep sf niche compared to mkx.

I don’t disagree with it but I just find it funny that people are making this big deal and then mostly all buying the game any ways. If you’re buying it then YOU BOUGHT IT and are going to wait for the free ass content to come by that will give you a better deal gameplay wise than what MKX did for more than a year.

In modern fighting games if thre is enough people know one has to wait to play.

Agreed the game should cost 58.99 to account for the incredible amount of stuff it’s missing.

The people saying it should be 40 are nuts. I would not consider any of the missing content to add up to the equivalent of two classic games on the
PSN.
