A lack of content is just dishonest. The content is coming, it’s just not currently on the disc. It’s not ideal, sure, but you are going to get the content without paying anything extra for it.
The OP is just being impatient. This game’s release was pushed forward specifically for pro players, that’s why we have the modes we have available. Everything else is coming within a month. You’re literally getting everything promised, just not when you want it.
thats bullshit.
do you want to excuse all the clippings now too?
how does it come that they managed that a better way in usf4.
because they rushed on 5 for it to come out.
you can clearly see that its not how it should work…
Does anyone else feel like the “if you don’t like this practice, then don’t buy” argument is the video game equivalent of people saying “if you don’t like America then get out!”. It isn’t that simple and anyone who says otherwise is in denial
And dudes who bought 3 and 4 copies of the game before it has even launched. Some so thirsty as to already be playing it online pre street date. Capcom can already smell how much some people want to spend on the game.
No and that is a terrible analogy. Video games are a business, living in the country you were born isn’t.
It’s the same thing how you hear everyone bitching about how Hollywood has no original content and all these remakes. But then those remakes are setting financial records raking in hundreds of millions of dollars. If every “remake” is making more money than the previous stuff, why would they stop making remakes?
Same thing with Madden. Everyone says “it is the same game every year with a new roster it sucks” but Madden is constantly the #1 selling sports title by a long shot year in and year out. It’s making them tons and tons of money, why would they ever stop doing what they are doing? Can pretty much say the same thing about Call of Duty.
What if you aren’t one of the fools going to see those films? You clearly don’t have enough power/influence to stop Hollywood from being so un-original but that doesn’t mean you can’t speak out against it. Are you supposed to just buy a fedora, start posting on reddit, and accept your role as a hipster douche?
It’s not so simple as that though. For starters, many people have already pre-ordered the game based on promises made by developers (not me, I pre-ordered for the sick costumes) and apparently developers broke some of those promises (this is what I’ve heard, I don’t pay much attention to that stuff though, so maybe ask someone else). Also, I personally have been playing this series for a while now and many of my friends will be playing too, I should now suddenly stop playing just to protest? It isn’t realistic to expect that from someone, there are numerous other ways to voice you opinions about a game. FYI, I think this game is really fun and I am sure I will enjoy it, I just feel somewhat obligated to play Devil’s Advocate at this point
Hey I didn’t say any names. I just said what I said. I’m sure there’s plenty more people who just bought more than one copy. Hell I’m probably going to buy the 36 dollar cdkey PC version by Monday.
Basically. What you are protesting specifically has 0 percent chance of being successful through words after purchase. The only time companies listen to what you are protesting is when you buckle the hell down and don’t spend the money. Soon as you spend the money you’re “lalalalala” to them.
They’ll listen to changes for gameplay and stuff that will help them for their dedicated competitive gamer base, but as soon as you buy the game you have assured them that they can crack their knuckles and piece meal content over time as long as they don’t make you pay for it. The only thing Capcom saw with SFIV is people go up in arms and stop buying when they make them pay for gameplay content.
Now that people don’t have to pay for gameplay, they are most likely going in with the wallets.
