Anyway, I’m excited for The NicoNico Chou Kaigi event!
Why can’t Capcom take note from CoD and EA Sports games? They are able to come out with a new game every year for over 10 years and it’s always a huge graphical improvement with revolutionary gameplay.
Capcom is just lazy.
Did you say CoD year after year is a huge graphical improvement? They’ve been using the same engine for years, they promised a new one for Cod Ghost, and all they did was give us a “modified” version of an older one and label it as “new.” If anything, some people actually argue BF4 looks better than Hardline in some aspects as well.
But the thing about EA and battlefield is that you can’t complain, battlefield for quite some time has set the standards for shooters, besides Crysis, i mean popular shooters, BF3 looked amazing for it’s time, and BF4 till this day still does.
Capcom is lazy though, Revelations 2 pretty much STILL uses the MT framework engine that was used for revelations 1, despite being them saying revelations 2 is a next generation experience. I own both on the PC (aka the best version) and the graphical difference is a joke, even more so when you know that the first one was originally a 3DS game ported to PC and consoles. I still love the Revelations saga the most, best RE games since 4.
Since it’s a discussion about taste and one that’s subjective and based on limited information, no one has refuted anything.
I don’t like condescending posts by people who think they know more than they do. Wish we could have less of that around here.
I’ll reserve judgement till they add basic things like motion blur. It’s obvious they’re still working on the audio and visuals.

I was trying to be sarcastic. Thought it would be obvious with the statement. Shit is the same old game rehashed over and over, but I don’t see people complain about it.

At this year’s NicoNico expo, Capcom will feature a Street Fighter 5 booth wherein they may be revealing new aspects of the game as well as have a playable version for those in attendance. Capcom posted a page with a list of games they will bring to the expo.

Random question. Anyone want to play Alpha 2 or Alpha 3 on Fightcade later? I’d like to start actually learning them, if only by doing than anything else.

Ooh, neat. Hopefully they actually release some formal footage too. It was a shame the GamerBee/Daigo match never got the same treatment the Ross/Rosas matches enjoyed.
If there’s a character reveal though, I expect that to get a release much like the Charlie trailer. It would be really cool if they gave us some official word on a new mechanic or two. The speculation is getting a bit out of control right now. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
