Yes.
One of the main reasons why I like the Street Fighter series is because of the diversified matchups. I want SF5 to shine it it’s character variety (which will be a good draw-in for newcoming players I think), so 3 characters I’d like are: Urien (dat aegis reflector pressure), Juri (dat mixup/rushdown), Dhalsim (gotta show these new comers the definition of zoning).
Decapre, Juri, SHIN AKUMA (not oni)
Geki, Goutetsu and Gouki without Satsui no Hado.
I wanna see my nigga El Fuerte to return…but he isn’t popular and everyone hates him :’(
Oh, Guy and T Hawk would be nice too. Maybe Hugo too? (I like grapplers)

The Final Fight cast alone brings a great amount of diversity.
Hugo - Slow high damage Grappler
Cody - slow/Average speed jack of all trades character with emphasis on normals/footsies and a unique stance change mechanic
Guy - Fast frame trap + mixup character
Poison - Average speed high damage zoner / rekka character
Rolento - High mobility poking + mixups character
Maki - Fast mixup oriented character
Sodom - Average speed hybrid grappler
Zoning isn’t greatly represented with only Poison being a real zoner but they offer a pretty wide range of variety without TOO much overlap other than Maki/Guy.
