I think that we will get the gamescom build in phase 2
I think we might get it in phase 1.

I dunno, Capcom said that we’d get SOMETHING for the whole beta debacle, and seeing that the build is fairly old at this point, I’m crossing my fingers that we get it when phase 1 starts.
But I can see Capcom saying that the “something” we get was all of this extra time to play in stress tests.
I don’t think we’re getting the full gamescom build. I mean, maybe once the Phase 1 restarts - they’ll patch in all the latest changes to the game (two V-reversals and stuff), but the character cast might stay the same (so Ryu, Bison, Chun, Birdie, Cammy, Charlie). I highly doubt they’ll add at least Ken until the Phase 2 starts later this year along with the PC platform launch

I caught the occasional Chun here and there but good to see more Chuns out there.
I played up until mid-way of lv.15 (not sure how many matches that is) and only met about 3 or 4 fellow Chuns. Beats the 0 I met last time. We’re slowly growing.
Only character I haven’t seen is Birdie. Literally have not seen one since the first beta.

I played another 2 and a half or 3 hours once birdie and cammy were out and in about 30 matches I only saw ONE birdie. He’s not very popular at all is he?
I mean he was a comic relief character made to look even goofier plus slow and burly like a grappler. Thats pretty much the exact design that newer players aren’t going to gravitate to.
He should be. The man deals a lot of damage off simple combos. His normals are good as well.
Grapplers are generally not that popular of a character archetype, and people seem to be generally negative towards Birdie as a character (in terms of his design)
Bison also seems to be a rarity in this beta, I suppose lot’s of people are playing on pads which is why no one is using chargers (even I can’t use them, I just don’t understand how do people play as them)
Which is funny because he may very well be the best in the beta right now, stupid easy confirms for 30% damage off jabs
Armored full screen specials, i think f HP has armor on startup like Hugo( i still need to test this)
