I reached grandmaster like an hour ago also. Chun Ri so stronk

Finally fought some Cammys. She is pretty dam HAM. Gotta make sure I have punishes on those DPs because a counter hit DP hurts. Good buttons too although her V Trigger seems kinda situational. If you’re patient and let her burn on her specials on block you can kinda go back to what you were doing. It is pretty powerful though as it improves her already strong combo game and basically makes spiral arrows safe on block.

Seems she doesn’t have a jump cross up anymore which is kinda like Sabrewulf in KI. She’s all about ground cross ups with V Skill or piercing block crosses with cannon spike in V Trigger.

Jump short still crosses up. But it needs to be deep to combo.

I don’t think it’s based on wins…more…how well you do in a match.

Even still. I’m dropping way more combos and missing punishes like crazy compared to before and I still some how have a grandmaster title.

With Cammy you can combo into a b.hp or hp (very close, so off a jump in), VT, full combo with VT divekick setup afterwards. Raw VT isn’t that scary.

But yeah, j.LK can cross up but it’s annoying to combo out of

I suspect we may be capped at 7 and Beta Grand Master

You’re not capped at 7. I’m 6 right now and I’m about 60% away from 5.

I was referring to St.hp, which I don’t believe does, or at least not in the range to link cr.mp

Um, I just played like 10 more games, and this is probably the worst fighting game netcode I’ve ever played on :O. wtf, every game is a jittery mess. I just checked my ping to google.com and it’s low and stable, plus I live in LA, so I must be getting some opponents not too far away? (and no I’m not playing on wifi).

Im playing at work, so maybe it’s because of some security/firewall that my connection has to pass through? Still, other online games I’ve played here have seemed fine.

Decided to run wired just to see how rough things would be and…it wasn’t bad. My connection held up really well and, oddly enough, most of my smooth matches were against Americans and some of my rough matches were against Canadians.

This strange feeling with this beta when you know what to do generally speaking after having experience with other games, while most of the other people just mash shit or try to jump in on you all the time (and eat a 10% SHORYUKEN afterwards) and you actually win
