Bison players who are stuck playing him like sf4 seem to have that way of thinking. I’m a bison main and even some of my bison buddies have turned there back on me for saying Bison is solid in SFV.
SRK worships chun. Maybe I just haven’t faced a good one but even on video nothing she does is particularly scary. She has below average health and hits like a featherweight outside of V-trigger. She has a decent anti air and great buttons though.
How do you dare not thrusting random people on the internet?
[details=Spoiler] @carups You could jab her out of the divekick in SFIV too, you can anti-air allmost everything with a jab, as long you time and space it right.
This is not a argument that only counts for Cammys divekick, but also for the majority of air moves.
If you still use Hooligan and backfist raw, it’s sad for you. You have to use them at the right time. I use M Hooligan against projektiles and it’s amazing effective. Backfist is good as a meaty and fireballs. Why would you throw them raw out anyways? You have a buttload of awesome Normals that maul allmost everything.
Knee Bullet is a good meaty and right spaced a pressuretool, why would you throw that move point blank out?
The reason to stop blocking is the damage. You might have noticed something in SFV, that you haven’t noticed in SFIV, Throws deal damage and don’t have to lead into Setups. Most Throws in this game are negative anyway, that not a argument that counts only for Cammy, but for a lot chars. The “which side” Mixups don’t lose to jabs if done meaty, you should know this by now, I have explained this probably 200x in the Cammy discussion allready.
Low life means you have to play carefully, Akuma and Seth players know how this feels, get used to it.
If you get hit by a reversal you was wrong and your opponent was right. Thats SF 1x1.[/details]
I don’t know if Rashid’s mix ups are “Mix ups” i find his dive kicks and rolls as a means to traverse the screen and get bits of damage off punishes from fireballs. He seems to have the tools to play footsies and most of his normals are safe. I think the main downside to rashid is that his damage is a tad too low but it could be because he can zone as well.
It’s not just mashing. You have to know how many parry hits each one of your opponents moves needs before you can either block or attack/punish. I mean, to be the highest level Ryu there is this is a must, imo.
And there’s also some timing required on some moves with delays in between hits.
Fighting against more Chuns I’m really not seeing why players are placing her so highly. Walkspeed and normals is all I feel she got going. She hits as hard as a wiffle bat when not using VT, Mix-ups are garbage, needs to use her V-skill to get a good jump, she can’t use lightning legs for pressure. I’m just not seeing it.
