Who made this fucking trailer? Whose idea was it to set it to somber music and some guy’s monologue? They’re not announcing the next fucking iPhone, for god’s sake.
Relax. It’s probably the least hype trailer you’ll ever see for a fighting game.
Calm zen music, some guy talking about self-motivation, random shots of tournaments with split seconds of gameplay footage that doesn’t look terribly different. Chun-Li juggles Ryu with her air foot stomps into Tensei Ranka, I guess there’ll be air combos? Meh.
Damn my hype instantly faded :/. It is still probably only 6 months or so in development so I can’t hate too much, but the focus on flash and combos instead of solid fundamentals is already apparent.
Exclusive for the PS4 huh?
Guess I’m out of luck this generation and will have to buy both consoles, since the new Tomb Raider game is going to be XBone exclusive.
Only for PS4 and PC means the player base will be less divided.
I liked the trailer actually, since it focuses a lot on the fighting game community that has kept SF alive all these years between SF3 and SF4.
Just wished they had shown more gameplay.
