I only decided to start today, and then… I just lost the mood halfway through. So I guess I won’t be submitting anything for this. But good luck everyone

But yeah Scissor, once the smoke settles we should start a thread and post the shit we all did! They said they got a metric ton of submissions from all over the world, should be interesting.
I think that’s a great idea. Late entries / uncompleted work / etc can be shared too.
Your SF Udon Contest Flukes…
Post up your unfinished stuff that you DIDNT submit to the Udon contest and why you decided not to (ran out of time , didnt feel it was really going to make it, etc.)
Udon said if you did submit artwork, but in the next few weeks you didnt get the email, you could post it where ever. So in a few weeks you can add some stuff that you know for sure did not make the cut.

Also if you didnt finish it you can still post it up (it not being finished is one of the reasons we wouldnt add it to the contest anyway.) Most of mine wont be finished. I know some are weary about being critiqued, but who critiques unfinished stuff? Personally this was pure fun to see what (could have) come from the contest that got us off our butts and back to drawin more SF.

I may post one. I was going to do a Sf3 group but it ended up looking really bad. So I ended up submitting a Necro piece that I’m quite pleased of.
I was going to do one, had 5 days, tried to draw a pose which took like 3 hours and I didn’t even get the sketch right and quit.
Maybe I will finish it in the fall.
Yea I started a new thread, you cant miss it, for stuff you decided not to send in. That includes half done stuff and unfinished stuff.
Its a bit of a shame since this is primarily a SF forum and this contest got us off our asses and back to drawing more SF stuff. I think if you didnt finish it, others can still see what you were about to do.
well yeah I sent my crappy entry in a while back… I wasnt in the right state of mind when doing my peice… lets jsut see what happens.
My original idea was to re-imagine the Chun-li + Cammy sequence from the Super SF2 Turbo opening (the one where Cammy sticks out her tongue), but drawn in my messy style.
Fortunately I came up with a better idea after that so the Chun-li/Cammy one was scrapped (big thanks to Scissorman 
).
But uh… I don’t have any rough sketches or anything. Just thought I’d share that anecdote heheh.
