nah in my idea he hadoukens upward, sending them into the sky lol. i was a kid when i thought that out. i have it as a sketch but not on paint yet.
your reverse shoryuken idea reminded me of something i thought of for ken back in the day. hes flashier so i can see him doing something upside down, unlike ryu. in the SF II V anime ken does a horizontal shoryuken. but i had an idea where sends them up and does an upside down shoryuken, drilling them from the sky into the ground. you could try animating that. its whatever your idea is.

Lookin’ good. Then again, I am biased towards limited color schemes. :wgrin: And I definitely feel ya on the layout thing… which is why I usually just get lazy and put out pieces with just one character when I don’t have the time to block/sketch something out first. 
Doing all the new chars in a piece is a sweet idea, Viper’s looking serious and I like Fuerte’s run pose.

the straight line drawings are looking pretty beastly though.
I can see a reverse shoryuken like Q’s Deadly Double super, just a nice gut check like ShinShoryu, then a heavy punch downward on top of the person’s head
