I died from fanboy overload when I saw Chun Li do a Kikosho! I’m a little saddened that the Alpha outfit era for her is over. I kinda prefer it to her SF2 outfit, but I still like that one too. THe backup art was pretty good, I just don’t think Larroca can capture the Street Fighter characters as well as Alvin and company, but it was still awesome. And the cover by Alvin @_@!!! Amazing. Ahhh, I just can’t stop gushing over the issue! Now all I need is my Alvin Lee drawn by Rose fix and I’ll be truly satisfied. Who was the doll that attacked Cammy. It kinda looked like Juli but I don’t think she uses a weapon. I can’t remember if they said her name or not. Also, looks like Bison is getting a new body already. I guess Rose isn’t gonna be his temporary one now. Oh well. I can’t wait to see what happpens next. There’s still a new issue coming out next month right? I know Udon said they might not release an issue for a month due to some special project. I also thought it was kinda weird how Ryu “kicked” Ken’s hair off. Strange.

i dunno… Chun-Li looked pretty damned nice in her Alpha outfit… I prefer her Alpha outfit over her original SF 2 outfit anyday!!!

And you will see Chun Li in other outfits. She is wearing the formal “Kung Fu” dress in honors to her father.
As for the Tatsumaki Kick, it will be strong and fast enough to slice thru things, hence cut the hair… when I plot that short story, which is inspired by the SF Animation, I also put that part in so to explain why Ken has short hair afterwards VS his long hair in SF Alpha…

Except for Adam Warren’s short story, Chun-Li never wore the full SFZ outfit in the comic. The comic’s version was slightly different with a jacket, and better looking than the SFZ outfit.
Just finished reading through it. Wow, very well done. I liked the opening action sequence best, it had a cinematic feel to it for me.
Did Cammy do a mid-air Spiral Arrow to reach the opposite train? I thought only SFZ3 Juni could do that!
Shadowloo training must be pretty damn good. Cammy took down 30 armed terrorist by herself!

Ken - Those kicks look familar. They look a lot like CvS2 Ken’s close HK and toward HK - two moves I use a lot!
Didn’t quite get what Guile meant when he said he’s on an assignment he’s not used to – Is he referring to meeting Julia or something else? And what is that glob on one of the M16 members anyway?
I like the humour bits too, Ken’s facial expression was funny and Sakura ‘building character’ was funny too.
Can’t wait to see Fei Long in action next issue.
Is bison getting his new body already? Just I do not like the fact that Charlie took him out in a 1on1 match…
If he is, would it affect its power? cuz SFA3 bison/vega is much stronger than the SF2 one.
Awesome issue as usual. I can’t wait till next issue to see what happens to Guile and Fei Long. I didn’t like the backup story though. It’s kind of a cool idea having Ryu learn about the advantages of creativity from Ken, but i felt Salvador Larroca dropped the ball with the art. Maybe he’s a busy guy or something but i don’t think he spent enough time getting the hang of the SF characters. There are a lot of really crappy poses in there. Disappointing.
But Rey’s work totally made up for it. Haha Dan beat up little kids.
Edit: Forgot to mention, there’s a typo following the movie shoot segment where the director says “you’re weren’t” to Fei Long.
Big fat issue, same price. Neat.
Ken + spit-take = fun! Best expression in the whole comic. “HAKGFHT!”
Okay, I can see where this “twins” thing is going, but I thought Julia was supposed to be older than that. Or at least dress more maternally than Eliza. I mean, aren’t she and Guile supposed to have a pre-teen kid already? Or is Guile just a bigger stud than I give him credit for? That look on her face says “no”.

Chun Li’s Kikosho was pretty obvious, but another super was in this issue. Cammy did a Spin Drive Smasher to one of the goons. (Also, she sure does like the Spiral Arrow…)
