i am an old member… currently staying in China (it`s been over a year now). I ve never written here because I do not play SF4 but 2 days ago I bought SFXT for dirty cheap and I wanted to try it online within China/HK. I tried with a japanese but was laggy as hell.
I m not in Beijing but in Jinhua (1h30 from Hangzhou,3h and sth from Shanghai). I play on PSN and beside SFXT (i m really a rookie here) i only play KOF12 and 13.

All I got here is my logitech pad, haven’t actually gotten down on any games at all in quite a long time (I don’t really count my few games of vanilla SFIV at the local arcade XD).
yeah i know Huangshan, i was planning a trip with my gf there, but couldnt make it.
I dont use ggpo, but I used to play on arclive [within China, no lag at all] or supercade. If you wanna do sth just add me on qq 
ok, i’ve been in Wuhan for sometime now and there are ALOT of arcades near me with a really big one about to open soon, unfortunately until it opens all the ones near me are garbage, there is one that has Tekken 6 and SF4 but the sf4 cab only has 4 buttons like KoF…so you can’t m.k h.k…also after going there a few times I can’t seem to get anyone to play with me anymore in Tekken 6, they all wait until i get up to play or are just too busy playing KoF, i do speak enough chinese to ask to play but they don’t seem to want to play a 外国人 anymore
the other arcade (best in wuhan) they dont care who you are and will play you but its far and costly because TTT2 is 3 tokens per play so its 1.5元 just for 1 match where as the arcade next to me is 3 tokens for 1元 and one token per game…
tl;dr how the hell do i get chinese to play with a 外国人 i beat some guy with alot of people watching and now everytime i go i cant find someone to play >_>??
i just play KOF and the Chinese are always happy to beat the hell out of me in those games. Big cities or small cities, they always play with me (i dont even have to ask, i sit and after 1min a guy comes lol)
not really a fan of KoF 97 and thats all they have around here…i only play KoF13 and well they don’t have it…
they last person i got to play in tekken 6 was some guy that was just spinning the stick around and pressing buttons…

Me too… i just play 13 (and 12) but my city doesnt have it (small city), so when i go to the arcades (pretty rare) i just play 97

are there no SBO Qualifiers in Beijing??? We have them here in Wuhan for Tekken Tag 2
SBO quals are during the summer, yeah.
There are periodic tournies going on as well, usually advertised at whatever arcade is holding them.
where will they post advertisements?
Usually on the cabs. You can ask around too.

Yeah 西单 has the odd tournament every few months or so. You can find the details on the cab themselves.

yea everyone plays tag2 now and i know there is more than one arcade with it, but they are both in hankou which takes me over an hour just to get there, hard to do with my current schedule…and yea i rarely get any wins at all in Tag2 but i body them in Tekken 6
Wuhan is super strong, a couple of Wuhan players are in Beijing right now (including China’s strongest female player) and they’re pretty much tearing up the city…
Probably because they have anything else to do in Wuhan other than arcade games and Mahjong anyway…
