Look at a3, mvc2, mvc1, xvsf, kof 98, cvs2.

These are all highly competitive games that have varying degrees of brokenness. Just because NG and 2I are broken doesn’t mean they aren’t competitive, deep or fun to play.

JI’m serious when I say that this is one of the truely balanced games that Capcom has ever made.

I swear the more I post here the more I find out that people don’t appriciate nor even understand the concept of BALANCE.

you’re talking about balance, I’m talking about brokenness. Just because something is broken doesn’t mean there can’t be balance.

Judging from your complaints it sounds like YOU are the one who does’nt play CvS 2. I’m serious when I say that this is one of the truely balanced games that Capcom has ever made.

A-Groove. While this is rediculously free form it is pretty far from broken in real matches. As a matter of fact some of the better cutom combos require proper setup and execution(Granted some characters can just mash fierce and get away with it but these still arent as good as PTF).

While at first glance P-Groove does in fact seem like shit it for the lack of options, it does have plenty of something:POWER. Granted N groove has a similar function when you charge the meter up Pgroove has smething that N does not: Parrying. Requirement of skill does not automatically means shit tier.

K-groove…a waste of space? Please tell me that you are joking. K-groove is could be described as broken in its own little way due to the fact that every time you just defend you net a small amout of your health back, you gain running and you have a similar power boost that P/N has when you are at max.

Roll canceling actually gives the game sort of an accidental check and balance. Without roll canceling then certain characters would be unplayable(King comes to mind immidiately). It’s not something that every neighborhood scrub can use either for it requires a shitload of practice to utilize consistently and effectively. It’s not enough to execute it properly but you have to time it almost like a damn parry in conjunction with an attack in order for it to have a really dangerous/broken effect like you claim it does. Roll cancelling is one of those rare glitches that helps to ADD to the game not break it.

Kim has an infinite…Yet A-Dic. is still a better character… because PTF more practical of course.

And as the crouching fierce goes all I have to say is “Learn your footsies and USE YOUR GODDAMN MEATIES!!!”
