I think what these people, and the developer, need to see is what we have here is not 3s:2, but a whole new take on the game.
I would not nearly be excited for this game if it was just a rebalanced 3s.
I am excited for the new content included in this game, and if you guys don’t like the direction its goint in, just go make your own custom version of the game.
The main ( and glaring ) difference between this mod of Street Fighter and that mod of Brawl is that the former was not made in despair; the other, however, I can’t really say anyone on the team didn’t work a day not thinking their project was going to end up being a complete waste of time.
The first, though, has much more confidence in its development than the latter, if it ever even knew what enthusiasm felt like.
that would be nice and if a team of nerds sat down together and came up with some changes, then a proper rebalanced version could be released.
One person re-balancing a full game will never work.
However problem lies that if these methods to hack were released then we will see too many versions out there, obviously playing online would be a headache. Not that it already is , minus supercade [god sent]
How have they done this? Like redesigned the moves? I’m seeing a lot of “new” stuff… Looks retarded to be honest, at first I thought this could be really interesting but it seems they went all out, instead of actually rebalancing.
Yun, Chun, Ken, Makoto, Dudley and Urien don’t really need any buffs what so ever, if anything they should be nerfed, they’re good enough as it is. Everyone else just needs slight buffs to make them more viable…
Read the last eight pages where we all talk about how broke-ass this looks and how fun it looks. Leave the “rebalanced” version to legendary game designer David Sirlin and Backbone for the inevitable 3SHDR
Read what? Eight pages of people trying to compare Brawl to 3rd Strike? No thanks! Shit looks like System Direction, sure it’ll be fun but it would have been far more interesting to see lower tiers made competetively viable, especially if it made it’s way to GGPO.
