Jumpsuit Jesse: I can’t wait to face you. I hear you’re really good at this game. My gamer tag is Crono37. Hit me up when you get this version.
Folken001: Talk to Phil McFly about parrying online. He has a video with the amount of parrying he did. He jumps into supers and parries them lag and all. So, the times you must have played were times were the person had a bad connection or your connection was just going screwy.
Take it easy buddy…i’m just stating my opinion…is that a crime?? If you enjoy online play…thats just fine. I’m just saying that its not something that really matters to me…cause i have played cvs2 on xbox live…and most of the time it just isnt the same.
I concur with everyone else, this is tremendous news.
Easily something many of us have been hoping for, and it’s finally going to be reality.
Without question, this is going to be the Xbox’ strongest year:
-SFA/SFIII
-GGXX #R
-Metal Slug 3
-Metal Slug 4/5
-Rallisport 2
-MechAssault 2
-Unreal Championship 2
-Halo 2
-SvC Chaos
All those games are likely to be high calibur titles, with almost all of them having online play. There is plenty of goodness to be had on the Xbox this year.
True for the most part. Rallisport 2 just came out though (and it’s orgasmic, the best online console racer yet, IMO), Metal Slug 3 will be shipping later this month, but the rest are all supposed to hit around the fall. I’m just going to have to pre-order and pay for them now while I can, and clear my calender for the fall to make time for all the goodness.
For anyone using a sony psx/ps2 based dualshock pcb in their stick I highly recommend a Dream Box adapter which is 100% perfect and supports the headset. You can get those at lik-sang.
When is ggxx#r shipping for the ps2 and xbox? Does anyone know where to get a stick that use can use for x-box if so how much would it cost to buy one. I still can’t get over how many fighting games will be on xbox live this is the best news ive heard gaming wise is longest time = )
I don’t know how he can do it because lag time could be different everyday, every minute and every second. The point is, I do not want to torture myself to adapt to the lag time. Some people can do it and some people can’t.
I have tried Xbox Live from three locations. They all lagged like shit. I even went to platinum_pinoy’s house and it still loagged. So, how am I supposed to get “better” connection? Should I move out of my state or something? If I was a die hard Xbot, then I might. Unfortunately, I am not…
Yeah, unfortuantely some ISP’s provide better upload speeds than others. You can buy more upload speed if your connection really sucks though. Like if you play from people near where you live and the connection still sucks, you might have to opt to buying more bandwith.
then why did u decide to open, read, and then post in a thread about LIVE support on this game.
I don’t see why folks get pissed about extra features being added to a game. It doesn’t hurt anything and I would much rather sit and fight a human with a bit of lag than the CPU when home alone. At least have it as an option anyway…
It’ll take time till the “lag” problem can be dealt with and made not an issue. That won’t happen tho unless an effort is made… it’s cool that the effort is actually being made now. Especially since 2-D fighters are barely alive still…
Damn…45kb upload. That’s mad slow. You need at least 128 for Xbox Live to even be playable. You must have problems with your connection or your ISP just doesn’t give out that much UL speed (the latter more so being the case). Mine usually runs at about 160-180kb.
