Someone on here asked if certain moves can still be punished. The answer is definitely YES. On CvS2, if a player makes a mistake 95% of the time that move can be punished. If Capcom makes this better than CvS2, than this game will play perfectly.
fuck the bitching, this is great news:)
The US PS2 version is firmly set for July 27. The Xbox version is just “Fall” right now, but I would guess September or October.
Hey NeoKen, I have a Joybox for xbox to convert ps2-xbox and it SUCKS!!! You have to mash the buttons for it to register (mvc2) on that website you posted they have 2 adapters for xbox. the psx/xbox adapter and the Xbox Dragon adapter. If anyone knows which of these is better or even usable for fighting games please post. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
You could just get a pelican stick for Xbox, and change up the control parts if you wanted.
ps2?? ps2? plz?
PS2 version hits July 27. We don’t know if it is online or not. We’ll know at E3.
As if GGXX#R wasn’t reason enough for me to buy teh box. Only problem will be resisting the PS2 version for a few months till it comes out on X in the fall.
The game is rumored to be only 29.99 (at least the PS2 version is, anyway).
I figure I’ll get both.
I swore when xbox came out that I would get one once 3s online was announced. It’s that time. I love this, it can only be good news for the 3s community, even if the port is not perfect.
Has anyone played the PS2 japanese port? I’m assuming that the xbox port will be identical. Is the japanese port like the DC or like arcade Rev1, anyone know for sure?
Also, do people have links to a RELIABLE (perfect) ps -> xbox converter, or should I make a xbox stick and get xbx->ps converters?
Oh and just so you guys know, Xbox GGX2 # Reload will be selling at $19.99.
Xbox is now officially god tier
I can’t resist XBOX anymore.
Unless PS2 does this game online, then I have to get me one of them XBoxes so I can lay the smackdown on Hyper Fighting!
Yes now people will understand why I talk so much shit!!!
Great News
We’ll see, wont’ we? I dont’ think it’s all netcode’s fault. So far, we only have one example to follow and that’s CvS2. From “ALL” the times I have played CvS2 on Live, they all had lagged horribly.
I couldn’t play any groove well with the lag. I am sure it isn’t hard to pick P groove, after all, all you have to do is to “pick” it. I doubt you win with P.
Re-release marvel on xbox with xbox live capability and I will literely explode in my pants.
bye.
yessssssssssssssssssssss
Yes, there finally getting a little smarter with this online fighting seen, all they neeed to do now is bring over some super puzzle fighter… then it will be complete for us all… man i hate waiting for these games…more ass woopings for everyone…
Folken, I just got done parrying an entire Ryo’s Zan Retsu Ken in mid air on CVS2 Live (during an actual fight). The guy was giving me props all through the end of that round after I did that. In a good connection, it’s possible to play any groove just about as well as you can offline. Though as far as CVS2 goes, the connection has to be strong on both sides for the connection to be good. Obviously if your connection sucks you’re gonna have crappy games but, even if you have a good connection if your opponent is really far away or has a crap connection, you’re gonna be in for a lag fest.
I just read the news…
and I just creamed in my pants.
This news is just TOO DAMN GOOD!!!
