i’d like to add some points

i like playing xbox live b/c it has CvS2.
-
i dont need to get my ass out of my room to play in the arcade. I dont have as much time as I used to to do that.

The lag can be bad (especially if you’re playing me), but I play to play. Yes, I don’t like to lose. I bitch and moan about offline this and that, but I still play it b/c it is instant comp.
So if you don’t like the lag (cause there will be lag), then don’t play. simple as that.
good day.

What is the official release date for Street Fighter AE for xbox?
Sept. 15, 2004 for the Xbox version (July for PS2)
Lag should only be a problem for these generation console. When the newer gen next of console arrives, we should only start to have minor lags unless that company is slacking as ever again coughcapcomcough. I can ran counter strike with 20 people including me online with out too much lag on a 56k connection. My ping rate is about 300, but i can still run it smoothly and still get some good kills. The other thing about fighting games too is that i want capcom to let us duke it out with everybody all over the world. The competition would be even higher than just the US, but will have to wait and see.
You can do that in CvS2 Live. I played people from France, Japan and China and other places without too much problem so I’m sure it will stay in the new fighting games online
Lag is inevitable nobody what you are playing. It all comes to down to who has a bad connection; I’ve seen friends get kicked off servers cause his ping was a “bit low”, and this prior to him getting DSL. Out of the 30 or so games of CvSNK 2 EO I have played online, lag has affected 4 or 5 of those games, and it would always be a split-second freeze, and not a constant stutter through the match, otherwise it has been pretty flawless. With Xbox Live, you can even face off against people from around the world, I’ve even played a guy from Japan once. I honestly believe lag will be less of problem next-gen, but one never the less. If it was one today, then nobody would bother taking their current consoles online, or SNK or Capcom would put online multiplayer in their games also.
I will probably be recording every match I have online with good players… I hope you guys won’t mind.

Were you the dude playing inside that van outside?
lol:lol:
i work at gamecrazy and was checking if AE was on the game server so i could preorder. anyway we’ve got the game right now for $29.99, so unless it’s a misprint the game will be $30 instead of $40 like i’ve been hearing (only checked xbox version). most likely the game will be that price everywhere not just at GC.
oh, yeah the release (xbox version) is 9/14 but gamecrazy won’t be getting it 'til the next day
lol im gonna get the ps2 version to hold me off untill the xbox version.
Anyone know if we’ll be able to save replays like in cvs2eo?
In the Dreamcast version of SF3 3S you were able to save replays so I wouldn’t see why not. Don’t know about Super Turbo though…
x-box gets all the fun =( damn ps2… :bluu:
LOL. PS2 got gypped. That’s what those RPG loving bitches get. Though I do love my Gran Turismo and Metal Gear Solid.
