Well, ARIKA is who made the EX series, and their agreement with capcom to make the series ended back in 2000 or so. So unless both of them are interested in doing the series again and come to a new agreement, a SFEX4 will probably never happen.
What has ARIKA done that makes them think the shouldnât be on Capcomâs dick to make another SFEXâŚI havenât heard of any best sellers involving ARIKA!
Considering most of their releases are japanese only, itâd make sense tat you havenât heard anything about them.

I would say fuck capcom but itâs given me so many good titles that Iâm not even mad about the delay on SF4!hopefully all the time capcom has been putting SF4 off they are thinking of ways to make it what everyone expects from and SF.

regarding sf4⌠iâm wondering what cast and story will capcom decide to implement this time⌠honestly, gills story didnât catch me⌠i know, we needed something different from bison (and his inumerous comebacksâŚ) but gill resurrecting in the middle of the match doesnât quite feel like normal⌠but then again shooting fireballs with your bare hands and creating sonic booms with your elbows and electricity from your body isnât normal either :pleased:

are all the characters that arenât from the original SF arika characters becuase iâve seen some of those characters in Capcomâs artbooks.also Arika made a fighting game much like Sfex called fighting layer starring allen snider & blair called fighting layerâŚhas anyone played it?
Shinji and I both have Fighting Layer, and yes itâs pretty good considering when it was made and whats in itâŚminus the fights with the shark underwater and the bird.

I thought maybe I was the only one who had Fighting Layer! either way as I said before does Arika own ALL the SFEX characters except for the original Capcom Sf characters. If so why didnât they use them to make another fighting layerâŚand if not why didnât capcom have and SFEX setion on Capcom Fighting Jam of ever use any of those characters in a team-up game.
IIRC it was part of their licensing agreement, and since no one but Blair and Allen made a debute outside of SFEX (not sure if Skullo in the original fighter maker counts), they canât be used outside of EX now since their agreement ended. TAS could probably elaborate on this if he sees this topic.
Man that sucks becuase EX introduced alot of new characters to the SF series and now becuase capcom and Arikaâs stupid agreement ended now the are history!

i was actually thinking about getting one of the EX games, which one would you guys recommend?
depends on the style you want. If you want a more old school feeling then EX+A will do. If you want a more alpha style to it with CCâs then EX2 and EX2+ will do. If you like old school but donât mind going beyond it a bit then EX3.

i watched a few vids. one was ryu/sagat vs. dhalsim/??..donât know the other characters name. they were really good. the EX series is alot better than i thought. canât wait to get EX3
