Street fighter EX thread(EX, EX+, Ex+@, EX2, EX2+, EX3)

This could help, http://www.geocities.com/chocobo2002/sf.html
but what is a surprise blow? HELP!

…

The combo that I’m referring to that takes up 85-90% of your energy is for EX, and EX2. I have never played EX3, although I wanted to, but I don’t have a ps2, and that game never came out for the arcades. Anyways, here it is.

Jump in with HP, crouching HP, Final Turn Punch, Crazy Jack(wait for 4 hits), then Home Run Hero, then when the opponent is falling down(you gotta time it well), do a crouching MP, crouching HP, then an Upper Crazy Jack(the one where he does the charging uppercuts instead of the straights.

This combo is beautiful to watch, especially the last part of it, because after the crouching MP and HP, the opponent is sprung into the air, then the Upper Crazy Jacks nails them again! I love it. This combo was one reason why I was so dominant in this game.

Thanks for your help, but I could do with something a little bit more practical. The first definition sounds easy and yet I never get a reversal, surely getting a move priority shouldn’t be that difficult? As for recovering or getting up, just how long exactly? I’ve tried and tried and can never time it just right.

Could somebody give me some examples please?

Now I’ll help you. It looks kind of like a guard crush from the previous EX’s, you press medium kick and punch at the same time for this as I recall.

Surprise Blows replace Unblockables from EX1 and 2, they are an overhead attack and cause the opponent to be stunned if hit when crouching. The biggest and most overlooked strength of Surprise Blows is that they can be comboed from Normals, Specials, and Momentarys. When put inside a Tag combo after one of the mentioned attacks it will greatly increase the time for your partner to continue the combo.

Reverals are simply attacking between a characters moves, or before they recover when finished with a move. An example of each is as follows.

Blocking Garudas HCF+HK and attacking while he is recovering on the ground.

Advanced- blocking Darks QCFx2+P and countering as he turns for the second uppercut in the super.

wb jester. BTW I’ve got the video from liquidscor for you.

pls culd sum1 tell me how to move from a dash straight to a crazy jack, (I cant feel my fingers anymore) thanx.

lol I know that feeling. Trust me.

For me it is easier done in a combo.

Just try jumping in with a heavy punch, crouching medium kick, crouching medium punch, then the dash straight.

Before the dash straight connects you should already have the motion for the crazy jack done.

You also have to remember you don’t have to do it extremely fast. Depending on the EX game the buffer between special to super cancels is quite large so once you get an idea fo rhow much time you have to do the command and connect you should be fine.

He thinks his fingers hurt now? Wait til he tries triple momentaries into supers.

thanx man, believe it or not i finally got the hang of it (without havin to do it in a combo). to tell u the truth im not a street fighter guy, i dont understand the technicalities of the game, i can’t manage more than a 15 hit combo and thats only with certain xters (EX3), do u have any tips? thanx

…is such a thing even possible?(Don’t answer that, lol).Damn i have a long way to go

how do u go about doing that?

Its only possible with certain characters like Sagat for instance.

Theres some in here:

WHAT THE F**K?!lol, can those combos b used in fights? i dont no how u guys do it.how do u no when to juggle ur opponent in the air?

there is no juggling. However because it is in training mode, the tag bar fills up faster. But thats about it. But yea, they can more or less be done in fights.

Anywho the combo that I was talking about does 199 points of damage on big characters like Zangief, and out right kills smaller characters.

First charge a full final punch, SC a home run hero, c.HP, batting hero, home run hero, c.HP, batting hero, home run hero, c.HP, batting hero, home run hero, c.HP, batting hero, HK momentary.

its only 4 MB. But its a 59.94fps, divx codec, and the size is 640 by 480, so it looks good, but unless you have a good computer it may play choppily.

-editted- fixed url

finished the Bison 2 and Shin Bison video. There are 3 versions of the video. mpeg (around 43.2MBs), divx AVI low quality 320 by 240 29.97 fps (36.2MBs), and divx AVI High quality 720 by 480 59,94 fps (124MBs).

http://www.streamload.com/ShinjiGohan/SFEX3Combos/ is the links and its called Bison2ShinBv2

So both Bison 2 and Shin Bison have the same link combos?

Sucks I could only play with Bison 2 on Single Player mode without GameShark.

They both have the same links, but Shin Bison has new chains. c.lk XX c.mk XX c.hk and c.mp, s.hk, c.hk, c.hp.

I’m thinking about buying these, have any of you ever heard of them?

heh sorry for topping this again :P, but I updated my website (their ftp service finally started working again so I could update the index).

I finished the movelists for SFEX2+, and I redid the movelist selections for EX2 and EX+a. I’m sure you will enjoy the slight change. Makes it look so much neater.

Outside of that, my PS2’s are down for the moment so no EX3 combos will be coming out soon (unless I get a hold of some hongkong EX2+ matches or something). But I’m gonna try to finish the EX3 movelists, and then redo the EX+a ones. (as opposed to Hadouken D, DF, F+P, I’ll have it in arrow format).
